  1. If the parts will be as good as the CAD drawings, I will purchase the set. BTW, highly detailed J79 ehausts with the correct diameter for the Tamiya 1:32 F-4E Phantom are much needed. May be a good idea for a future Strato CAD set? Greetings Christian
  2. It is nice to have many new ambitious facturers evolved over the last 2-3 years. Kitty Hawk´s F-35B, as we see here, is not anyone´s taste, but in my opinion it will be a good selling kit of a popular subject, which is currently well discussed and covered in different mass media resources. Some of you have posted many suggestions for future Kitty Hawk kits. Some of them are very interesting and let´s wait if the more exotic subjects will be released sometimes. For a newcomer like Kitty Hawk it is obvious to release kits of more poular aircraft at first. Here we still have plenty of subjects
  3. Are you planning a Turkish AF T-38 sheet as well? Greetings Christian
  4. Other big gaps in 1:48 and 1:32 Warsaw Pact aircraft are decent MIG-23BN kits, as well as the whole range of MIG-27 versions. And in big scale we are missing a Su-17/22 family.
  5. ... let the 1:48 kits coming! Can´t wait for a really good Mirage IIIE and -5BA kit in 1:48! When can we expect these? christian
  6. This sheet will be awesome! Thanks for it! Greetings Christian
  7. For me the best acrylic gloss clear cotes are Aqua Gloss ALC600 from Alclad2, as well as the Xtracrylics (same as Agama)1:1 diluted with mixture of 70% original thinner and 30% retarder.
  8. Turkey! And don´t forget the "Turkish Stars".
  9. Hello GOOD NEWS from the Spielwarenmesse Nürnberg. Italeri shows box art of a new tool Jaguar GR.1/3 in 1:48 and the eagerly anticipated F-104G/S 1:32. The latter will include photoetch parts as well.
  10. Hello Very interesting subject, very nice choice of markings! I will buy both sheets. Nice to see, that Firestreak Deacals is biased towards European subjects. There are still a plenty of European subjects to work on in the future. Recently requested subjects are USAFE F-84E in 1:32 and European Air Forces F-84E and -G in 1:32 and 1:48, especially after the launch of the big scale Hobbyboss kits. Others are F-16C/D from the 50. TFW at Hahn Air Base in 1:32 and 1:48. I wish Firestreak Decals a good start and always much success. Greetings Christian
  11. O.K., here are a couple of JF-17 shots coming. It was the first time I saw these fighters and I was quite impressed by the flying displays. As with the F-16A, two different airplanes were alternately used for training and displays during the airshow. A third JF-17 was in the Static Display. According to the very friendly PAF pilots and a spokesman, the JF-17 reaches 85% of the F-16 Block 52 in terms of power and manoeuverability. But in overall, the JF-17 has better performance thanks to its superior avionics in the latest configuration, which currently is impelmented in the PAF JF-17 force.
  12. Excellent! Here an other shot of 85728 A couple of JF-17 shots will come soon.
  13. In order to get attuned to the new Caracal Pakistan AF sheet I show you here a couple of F-16A shots taken at the outstanding Centennial of the Turkish AF Air Show at Izmir-Cigl in June this year. Two F-16A (85726 and 85728)were alternately flown during the rehersals and Air Show
  14. Awesome! I want both sheets in 1:48! Greetings Christian
  15. Hello I am lucky, that the Caracal decal sheet covers Onyx III and IV F-16Cs and Ds, which were on display at the 100th anniversary of the Turkish AF display at Izmir-Cigli this year. The first picture here is from F-16C Block 50 94-0088, which I was told is the first Onyx III modified aircraft. Onyx III is more or less comparable with CCIP. Second and third are showing the "Monster Falcon" F-16D Block 50+ 07-1015, which only had 10 flying hours on the clock when it was shown at the Cigli static display.
  16. Just another two pics. I choose the Heller kit in favor to the Eduard one. The Heller has a nice rounded omega style fuselage cross section, while the Eduard is looking too flat in this area to my eyes. The model took me 500 hrs. over the last 14 months and beleive me, I am really lucky, that it is now finished. My next Mirage, hopefully will be from a high-end kit from Hasegawa, Kinetic or Trumpeter, which hopefully will be released sometimes in the not to distant future in 1:48 or 32. I can dream ... . Greetings Christian
  17. Hello I just was outside to take some photographs of my 1:48 Mirage IIIE, which I finished in Summer. It is a conversion of the Heller IIIC with some parts from Fonderie, Italeri and the Master´s pitot tube. Some items, like the exhaust, are fully scratchbuilt. Hope you like it.
  18. John, check out this http://www.modellbauwelt-bliestal.de/ It is not far from Ramstein AB (30km), but only open on Saturdays! A good selection od AFV, aircraft and accessories is carried. This one http://www.take-off-lorsch.de/ is some 80km east of Ramstein and worth a visit for sure. A serious and aviation minded scale modelling club in the vicinity is http://www.pmcsaar.de/ Greetings Christian
  19. The Heller kit clearly outclases the Eduard offering in terms of shape accuracy, while the latter obviously provides up to date, thus better surface detailing.
  20. Chris, beside the canopy of the Trumpeter Su-25UB, the ones of the MIG-23 kits and Su-25 single seater are not really correct either. They are also crying for a replacement by a Zactocanopy. Do you have any plans? Greetings Christian
  21. Hello It seems that the long awaited F-5A Freedom Fighter in quarter scale could become true in the forseeable future. Please look here http://www.tanmodel.com/en/index.php Greetings Christian
  22. That´s excellent news! I will buy a couple! Any plans doing a sheet in 1:32 as well? Are decals for the SOLOTURK planned too? Greetings Christian
  23. Thanks Song for posting these interesting pictures! The canopy is looking much better on the new Jaguar GR.3 and T.2(?) masters now. I am sure, the Trumpeter Jaguar will be a spectacular kit!!! Yes, I agree with some other ARC users, who state that a Mirage 2000 series in 1:32 would be really nice for a future release. Kind regards Christian
  24. Wow, this looks like a spectacular model!!! I agree, that the canopy frame is looking too flat. Hopefully Trumpeter is reading this forum and able to correct this error in their moulds. Now, I really can´t wait to have the kit in my hands. The Jaguars were adorned with many attractive paint schemes. I am just thinking on the chocolate/ light brown Chad scheme or the Gulf War paint. :P For the future, a Mirage 2000 series in 1:32 would be a fantastic choice! Greetings Christian
  25. Hello I studied photos of some -MF and it seems, that at least two styles of front canopies were used. But on the other side, to me, the intake looks considerably too small in diameter and accordingly, the shock cone too. Yes, and the spine is a tad too tall, even for a -MF. Greetings Christian
