The blades have drooped under their own weight and I had four failures of the rotor head so i am reluctant to start to bend it too much the links are very weak. The windows fit ok but there is a little slack around a couple the biggest problem was the windscreen which was fouled by the instrument panel and sat just slightly high on one side. Trumpeter JU-87 corrected and just finished in time for Telford Hi guys the title says it all really . It was built for Mai and will appear in the magazine in the future. HI Guys as is the normal for this time of year I have just done a re stock of the larger models in my range and have several of each available so there is currently no waiting time to make an order. Spot on that man on both counts. I have now corrected both issues. There also appears to be a formation strip light above and behind the engine intake danger triangle. The irst window is a clear part I have given it a slight blue tint, this may be wrong but aesthetically it looks better than clear. John

Thank you for the comments and critique I built the model straight from the box for a magazine and this was done to show case the model not necessarily what happens in reality. I was aware of the configuration as is being a bit suspect but considered closing the canopy. I was not convinced that it would be the best fit as everything is designed with the model to be open. There is someone doing an on line build with it in the closed config and it will be good to see how he does. In the mean time there is one thing that no one noticed until I sent a picture to the manufacturers who spotted it r

Builds ok and fits with some careful trimming I would warn that this thing is UGLY though, so you would have to love it because you want to! John

Hi Guys here is the latest from me just in time for Telford next week I will be entering her into the comp so she will be on show there. It is the Tamiya A6M-5 back dated to and A6M-2 then converted to the A6M-2N Rufe with the MDC resin conversion. Full build article to appear in MAi sometime in the near future. The markings are painted using Montex masks which were made specially for me and the weathering is done using hairspray between colours then lightly sanded to achieve a heavily worn top green coat, the figure is from the Masterbox aces set, I just thought he went well.
