HI Guys here is my latest it is the (according to some, unbuildable) Hobbyboss Spitfire MK V straight from the box with the fixed part of the elevators corrected in about 10 minutes with a sanding stick and Riveting tool! the cross section in front of the windscreen which has also been spoken about was slightly re shaped with a sanding stick , again 10 minutes work. All in all a good kit . Thank you Hobby boss in the fullness of time she should appear in a future edition of MAi that is why there is only one picture! Hope you like her John

HI Chris I have posted these before but for this thread here you are. The pylons launch rails and missiles all now adorn my SU-25. I have to say that these products are really top notch and worth every penny. I have also made a couple of other corrections like the odd rod IFF and the pitot tube vanes. Hi Guys and Girls Over the past few days I have heard lots of comments about weather this show is on or not, well it is definitely a go as we speak the organisers are gearing up for a bumper show. This will be at the Newton Abbot Race course just opposite Tesco's on Saturday 14 May 2011. Further details to follow but this post is to tell you all it is on despite some people doubting it. HI Guys as you probably know I made the very first SU-25 kit out of the factory and really enjoyed it, One of the small omissions that was made was the fact that there were no outer wing pylons, Along came Chris Wilson AKA Zacto and made them along with the previously released adapters and R-60 missiles I was fortunate enough to have them to update my kit so here for your perusal she is with said Zacto parts. I would say with out reservation that they are truly amazing castings and build really easily into masterpieces which fit the kit perfectly. Enjoy John

I cheated and used Gunze 64 and 65 then I lightly dusted 302 over the top to make it more green and less contrast between the two colours. John

Hi Guys here is the latest from my workbench, it is the Revell Arado 196 A3 straight from the box in 1/32 scale No real major issues apart from the carpet monster eating the rear seat and the lack of instrument decals as well as no swastikas. Hopefully she will appear in MAi soon Hope you like her? John

HI Chris please put me down for a set as I have made the kit I would love to retro fit these , I have a couple of other alteratuons to make to get her like I want, namely the pitit head vanes and changing the areal in front of the windscreen to the Odd rod style . Following on from the success of the South Devon Model Extravaganza several of the modellers involved have requested the set up of a new club to cover all aspects of modelling to this end we are announcing the launch of the South Devon Model Club. we will hold our first meeting on Wednesday 6th October 2010 at the Scout hall in Newton Abbot. If we get enough members then we will become an IPMS branch although membership is not essential. This will hopefully become a strong club on the modelling scene and we aim to ensure that the normal

HI Robert I have just found this on the web which I used as advice and it is worth going to this shop. I bought a lens there earlier this year and am quite happy to report that the shop keeper was honest and straight talking, no hard sell and left me test out the kit I was actually buying. The best camera shop I found was in Kowloon and just a couple of streets from Nathan Road. There are plenty of shops on Nathan road but most of these are rip off merchants who get you in then try to get you to buy something you didn't want in the first place and at a vastly increased price.
