  5. This is a nice vintage 1963 MATTEL VAC-U-FORM in used, working condition. This item was sold as a toy in Amercia in the 1960's but was withdrawn. It simply heats up the plastic that you put between the self contained clamping system. Then, when it gets hot enough you simply flip it over to the other side over the pattern and pump away. I have used this successfully for making small parts and canopies in thin material. The reason for sale is because I have a full size vac form machine and there is no need to keep this one so I would like to see it go to a good home. I bought this from ebay an

  7. Hi Guys I am trying to do a little research on the Black Panther Tornado of the Italian Air Force. MM7027 One thing I have found is good overal photo's of the aircraft but nothing up close. I am a bit stuck for the names of the pilot and Nav as seen on the port canopy frame, I assume they are in the Italeri kit decals but I don't have that to hand so any help or good close ups or even pointers to the details would be great. Failing that if some kind sole could scan the decal sheet part where the names are or tell me exactly what is written there and the font used I would be most grateful. Ch

  10. HI Guys I am after some help or pointers to be able to finally settle some questions I have on an FA-18E from VFA 143 namely 166608 the boss's bird. I am trying to find a descent walk around of photo's to show me the smaller details like the pilots name on both sides of the cockpit as well as the crew chief's name on the gear doors etc. any help would really go a long way. I have been sent a scan of the decal sheet for this aircraft aeromaster 48-761 but this has only caused me more confusion. Thank you John
  11. Hi Guys Anyone got these decals and can let me know some details? I am after some text as seen on 166608 Fa 18e of VFA 143 modex 100. namely the text below the cockpit on the right fuselage side? confirmation of the pilots name on the left fuselage as being CAPT SCOTT STEARNEY CAG and also the crew chiefs name on the nose gear door below the left fuselage side? any help would be greatly appreciated thank you. Scans of aeromaster 48-761 or superscale 48 1047 might have what I am after. John

  13. Hi Guys thank you for the kind comments. For the record I should be getting published in Model Airplane International @ http://www.modelairplaneinternational.com/ One thing I try not to do is show too many photo's before publishing as this can upset my editor. It has now become apparent from someone who had photographic evidence that this model as is represents the restored plane in Canada and not the orignal war time bird as I wanred to portray. The real plane was serialed TB886 and have clipped wing tips. I may attenpt to change this to be a more accurate representation But I have not ye
