  1. Hey Floyd, late to the party, but I might be able to help out. I flew the MH-60J out of Astoria for three years. I am happy to share standard and mission specific configuration for external tanks, weapons pylons, FLIR and mission specific night sun. My exchange finished up before I got a chance to fly the MH-60T. If you have any questions feel free to give me a shout. I’ll be in for a couple of complete sets…have to build the ‘Dirty 30’ (6030). It was the first cab I flew at Astoria after my conversion….it also featured on the movie poster for the Guardian. Cheers, Mark
  2. Hi Kursad, Just a quick one for you. On the Flight Systems aircraft, there is a discrepancy on the colour of the 'EXPERIMENTAL' text on the forward fuselage. The profile shows a yellow/gold colour, the decals sheet shows red. I hope this helps avoid a possible error. Cheers, Mark
  3. Hi Jennings, Nice work. I will buy 2 sets of decals if they go ahead. Also, is there any chance of posting an image of the profiles? Perhaps that might help generate some interest. Cheers, Mark
  4. Hi Eric, I know, Australia Post is really expensive. That couple with the $9 security surcharge for anything weighing more than 16oz makes it very difficult for US based people. Cheers, Mark
  5. Plus much more, including a Cutting Edge 1/48 F4H-1 Phantom conversion. http://shop.ebay.com.au/subs/m.html?_trksid=p4340.l2562 Cheers, Mark
  6. I used Xtracrylix and knocked all of the colours back just a bit with white when I sprayed the first coat. I then went back over the top in a random/mottling type action with the original color. Finally, I dusted a very light and heavilly thinned coat of light grey over the top of the model. I was careful not to end up with the patchwork panel and dark panel line look often seen...not that it doesn't look nice, it's just no what I was after. Cheers, Mark
  7. The Fisher kit is very nice, here's a photos of mine... Cheers, Mark
  8. Hi Terry, As the other guys have said, the kits have started shipping. Paul is shipping them in the date order they were ordered. Also, there are only three people that work at Fisher Model and Pattern; Paul Fisher, his wife Susy and one casting assistant, Susan. Each kit is carefully hand made and hand packed, the Cutlass is a complex kit and it takes a little while to get them out the door. Anyway, the wait is worth it, I have mine and am very impressed. BTW, if you don't get an email response from Paul, give him a call on 530-876-9900 or email him at his alternate email address madgepett
  9. Hi Timmy, I'm looking forward to seeing this build progress. Unfortunately my kit is now packed away for the trip back to Australia so it's going to be a while before I get started on it. I dropped by Chico Airport in the company 'vehicle' last week to grab some gas and as a bonus got to see Paul; he bought along his build of the Cutlass for me to have a look at. It looks fantastic! Anyway, I'm planning an NMF build of this kit also....oh yeah...nice work on the parts you contributed, the box art looks cool too! Cheers, Mark
  10. Is this a recent change then? http://www.airliners.net/photo/Australia--...f2f6184989a6bec The reason I ask, is that I've got an RAAF 'tub' on the go and was planning on using the above pic for reference. Cheers, Mark
  11. Steer well clear of Aires. I have them and the are WAY undersize. I have a friend who has them as well, his are undersize. Cheers, Mark
  12. Congrats on both of those. They look great! Cheers, Mark
  13. Congratulations on a really nice finish. Cheers, Mark
  14. Hi Benner, That Hornet of yours is going along very nicely. Would you mind sharing what brand of paint you used for the 36375/35237 combo? Cheers, Mark

  17. Hi Jeff, Maybe you can find the wheels you are after here... Royale Resin F-16 bits ...I just got an order today from them. They are absolutely stunning Let me know if you need any more info. Cheers, Mark ...Oh yeah, really nice work. I look forward to seeing more.

  19. Hey Pookie, Let me know if you need any reference pics...that's what I'm currently flying. Cheers, Mark
  20. Hi Guys, Here are a couple of pics. Like Rafael above, I started out in the AS350BA...we call it the Squirrel in Australia. The first shot is my first deck landing on an FFG, the other is from my second DL trip...I think. Anyway, I'm now flying the MH-60J on exchange in the US. Cheers, Mark
  21. Hi Guys, If it's a nice exhaust you crave...check this out. Awesome Mirage III exhaust! I have three if them and they are absolutely fabulous although they are a little expensive. Cheers, Mark PS I have no affiliation with the manufacturer, I'm just a happy customer.
  22. Yep, if the guy who did the Tracker did the Greyhound, I'd buy the Greyhound in a heartbeat...otherwise I think I'll wait. Anyway, many thanks for the response. Mark
  23. Hi Guys, It was apparently released in the last week or so and I'm curious to see if anyone here had seen it? I'm keen to hear your opinions before ordering one. Thanks in advance, Mark
  24. Hi Ben, I vote 'yes' as well! Whilst I haven't purchased all of the Fox One Decal sheets you made, I do have quite a few (over twenty, I just did a count with many multiples). Anyway, like everyone else said, there is room in the market for well researched, printed and presented decals. Of course there will always be those that aren't happy with this or that...oh well...there are lots of us that DO like your work. All the best and I look forward to seeing and buying some more Fox One decals in the future. Cheers, Mark
