  2. Aloha Kurt! You can easily go with an XF-80 by Tamiya. Add white to taste! 😉
  3. There's no Mi-24A in 1/48, but it'll be great to have an upscale by Zvezda in the future (maybe). It was Hasegawa's pure fiction putting three crew members inside the cockpit, and two of them side-by-side...
  4. As I read somewhere, these interesting construction was made after the long research and the main landing gear has a pushrod suspension that pulling in the wing mechanically. That’s why the bay doors are 4-part unit - just to «puzzle» into the one-piece door without actuators.
  5. Caracal Models has an excellent decal sheets for an F-101B: Air National Guard F-101B Voodoo and Air National Guard F-101B Voodoo Part 2. There’s no stencil data, but I think it can be very useful.

  11. Привет! 🙂 В мобильной версии сайта не увидел адрес: Krasnodar! I was able to dry-brushing 20 years ago, but now - after the long hiatus - I can’t reproduce this skills... I missed some posts in this thread when I offline for a few days, and it’s something special here. 👍 The Dragon has «U.S. Helicopter Crew, Vietnam» kit. I think it must be a bit cheaper. The model with such a level of details will be attractive as is, so you can decide about the making diorama later. Keep up the good work! Cheers! 😉
  12. Improve?! Your scratch building skills is amazed me, especially the seats! The work on the jacket is also superb. The only thing I noticed is the very olive uniform color, but it’s a very obvious on some photos - I never saw it before. I found it on a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel page, from the Meg Jones family archive: I thought that the uniform was light green, as on the man on the right side. And I was wrong - so you’re done it beautiful! Interesting... Keep up the good work! 👍 Cheers!
  13. Hello, Marc! The correction with these parts looks vague and tricky, in my opinion. There are the furrows on an inner sides of the intakes. I think that the KH engineers offer us to cut an intake trunks there an use the provided parts to make a new lips. I didn’t measure an angles on these parts, but all we need is to made the 90 degree angle between the fuselage and an intake. I think that just to cut an existing intake is a way better idea. Please, look for fresh and interesting discussion about it here: RF-101C auxiliary tanks. There is som

  19. Just because the CAD designers are not always know about the real purpose of the some aircrafts’ mechanisms. Anyway, it’s a very promising tool, so let’s judge on a real plastic soon... Cheers!
  20. I think it’s the latter one... We just can’t caught up the movement of this art 👍 Cheers!
  21. Awesome photos, @Craig Baldwin! I sawed a lot of F-101B (or even the RF-101C) pictures with the only one drop tank attached - looks like it’s a common practice, isn’t it? Cheers!
