  3. Here's a picture of Firebird from the A-1 group on Facebook where you can see the wheel hubs are red indeed: Firebird
  4. The Jack Ballard book can be downloaded from the US DOD site: https://media.defense.gov/2010/May/26/2001330293/-1/-1/0/AFD-100526-036.pdf
  5. Not sure it's really Have Glass but it does look similar: More pics on https://www.facebook.com/flyvevaabnet/
  6. 37th TAS/435th TAW based at Rhein-Main AB. The unit had several aircraft in this scheme.
  7. I saw a few pictures of an Aviano F-16 on a post maintenance testflight from Charleroi in the HG5 dark scheme with light grey tailcode and serial on Facebook today.
  8. The MC-130H is still in service, as is the AC-130W.
  9. The tape would stay there until the aircraft used its guns. If you want to model an aircraft that just came back and had used its guns there would be some holes in the tape indeed. As far as I know it would normally be reapplied after the sortie when time permitted.
  10. The gun ports were usually covered in protective tape, like this:
  11. This might help: https://www.flickr.com/search/?text=nas jacksonville heritage park
  12. As you probably expected, the construction numbers for the 4 you saw are NM028, NM032, NM035 and NM036.
  13. 14-03028, 14-03032, 14-03035, 14-03036. All are E-models.
  14. Both Rafale and Eurofighter productionlines are still open. The 500th Typhoon was recently delivered and I remember reading the orders at that time were for 599 aircraft.
  15. They are, from a company named 'Model Friends' but sadly the sheet is long OOP. Hasegawa released an 'Italian Navy' boxing of their AV-8B some years ago. Someone might have a spare sheet from that kit.
  16. Iran and Japan are the only RF-4 operators left.
  17. AF-104/ 14-5103 was delivered to Luke AFB months ago. You can see some pics here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/chrisk48/33017434836 https://www.flickr.com/photos/chrisk48/32392424030/ https://farm1.staticflickr.com/730/33136649396_2c0bb28c03_b.jpg
  18. For USAF/ANG stuff, the Montana and Nevada's Air Guard Hercs currently have some pretty nice tail art. https://www.flickr.com/photos/126357220@N02/16496382293/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/58611670@N04/33524286832/ These come to mind as well: http://planepictures.net/v3/show_en.php?id=1393867
  19. Maybe a Thai Huey in the blue/grey scheme? The camouflaged Department of State birds used in Afghanistan looked quite nice as well. Some useful pics here: Several pics: https://www.flickr.com/photos/61758703@N07/24170928426/in/photostream/ http://www.airliners.net/search?airline=19463&keywords=uh-1&sortBy=dateAccepted&sortOrder=desc&perPage=36&display=detail http://modelbrouwers.nl/media/albums/308/10430/bell-uh1-02.jpg http://modelbrouwers.nl/media/albums/308/10430/bell-uh1-03.jpg http://modelbrouwers.nl/media/albums/308/10430/bell-uh1-milit
