Forgot one in my shortlist, an accurate Vigilante family (RA-5C in particular) would be nice as well. So not like Trumpeter's mix of versions with horrible shape issues.
-
And a new correct Mirage F1 please, and a Viggen that doesn't need a load of aftermarket. :D
-
Wouldn't that be the Sabreliner?
-
Sure, look at some of the French ones I posted. Some more pics of them here http://spotaero.blogspot.nl/2014/02/les-mystere-falcon-20-dans-larmee-de.html

Normally on French Transalls when one prop is silver and the other black, it's cause they are two different models. French Transalls can often be seen with a mix. This shows the difference between the props quite well: I believe the latest RoG Transall boxing actually includes one of the newer (black) props. Nice to see a model of the Gabriel!

FYI, the Finnish examples don't always carry that big radome under the fuselage.
-
Back in May someone noted them as: DC-00 164270 DC-01 164261 DC-02 164268 DC-06 164273 Guess that's a start. Koen

Don't think it was announced at the Nats but here's the news anyway http://www.airfix.com/uk-en/news/workbench/5334/
-
Don't get too excited as that looks like a Sea Harrier FRS.1 to me, not an AV-8A. Kinetic will do an AV-8A/GR.1 at some point though.

These two videos have some good audio of the taxiing and some circuit work. Those were the days...
-
Yup even if the P-1, that is specifically designed for the job, has some advantages compared to the P-8A (MAD boom, 360 degree AESA radar, more weapons hardpoints being some of them) I think that anyone looking at buying it would also have good relations with the US, making it unlikely for the Japanese to win the orders. From an aircraft enthusiast point of view I'd love to see more P-1s instead of just another 737 though!
-
According to an article I read the other day 140 million for a P-1, 250 million for a P-8.
-
Actually the Israelis retired theirs in 2010.

Good to see the finished painting. I've checked your website a number of times to see if there were any updates on this one. Terrific job, Bob!

Sadly Turkey is not among the options on that sheet, just Jordan, Bahrain and Japan.

This guy only used part of the Dmold nose, maybe that works for you as well? http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/62336-148-hobby-boss-f-105d-thunderchief/?p=719466

They did announce it back when they put out their 2014 list (which among others included the MiG-31). http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=269897

Murph built a nice model of it. ;)

Pollie already said it wasn't '149' and it seems that the aircraft lost was 681 (FMS 81-0783). Source of the info is Squadron Prints who have just released a print of the aircraft in cooperation with 1 squadron/RJAF.

Modelbuilders' Guide to the Netherlands
Koen L replied to TheFlyingDutchman's topic in General Discussion
Verspaget is pretty good both price and selection wise, Willie's is slightly less interesting IMO. If you have any questions about Eindhoven feel free to send me a PM. Hope you enjoy yourself over here! -
why is it new Tamiya models come out so rarely
Koen L replied to DarkKnight's topic in General Discussion
I wouldn't say so, Hasegawa releases a new 1/32 WW2 prop a year as well but they might stand out less since the last few years they've all been Japanese aircraft. Apart from that I believe they've released quite a few new 1/72 kits. It's not like Tamiya releases a lot of 1/48 kits either... -
Interesting that it has decals for twoseaters on the sheet. Does that mean this will be an all-in-one AMX kit?
