1. Try letting the canopy soak in 91% isopropyl alcohol. I find 91% is strong enough to remove most acrylics without damaging the plastic. 2. I think you applied the second coat before the first one had time to cure. When you did the second dip, did you dip it in just the aqua gloss or did you dip it in the aqua gloss/tamiya mixture?

Try Cro-hobby.com. One of the guys in the MRP facebook page said he orders from them and they deliver to him in the US. Id imagine delivering to Canada wouldnt be an issue.

I have found that a couple drops of Vallejo's flow improver and a couple drops of water works wonders for spraying Vallejo and AK paints. Maybe more flow improver than water but those two ingredients I have found to be essential for smooth spraying. I can spray with as little as 8-12 psi with that mix. IPA, Tamiya thinners, lacquers, etc. are too "hot" for those paints and tend to "curdle" the paint rather than thin it. Hope this helps.
