  1. With this post and the others on Britmodeller and Airlinercafe you need to calm down a bit otherwise some people will start to think you're being paid by Authentic Airliners to hijack every thread and increase sales of Kurts kits. And to come into a thread started by the manufacturer and state that his newly released kits aren't as good as someone else's is very insensitive. As mentioned by someone else, it's a different kit targeting a slightly different market. I haven't got bottomless reserves to fund my hobby so I'll buy the BPK kit (I do have the AA kit too) and build up the "fleet" of C
  2. Beautiful work. The finish looks great. I like how you've done the dayglo on the tail. Well done, Jeff
  3. I'm sure I answered this a few days ago when you posted it on Britmodeller. http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234961197-anybody-have-experience-with-the-roden-1144-lockheed-jetstar/ Not you?
  4. Hello, I often see the Beluga on its way to North Wales to pick up more wings. Such a characterful aircraft and always so noticeable especially as it usually flies sub 30,000 ft and about 390kts (all data from flightradar app on my phone, it's the one aircraft I eagerly look out for when it's picked up by the app as on its way) and in clear weather the bulk is so obvious. Just slowly lumbers overhead!!! I've got the Revell one in my stash and everyone I see the real aircraft I always get it out ready to start, but I'd like to do a detailed cargo bay but haven't really got the spare time at t
  5. It's quite a nice airliner - except for THAT nose!!! I see what you mean about the proportions it does look a bit...odd. You're not the only one, I like the A380 too!!!
  6. As I start another Revell A320 - brilliant timing!!!! Many thanks
  7. Great models and beautiful finish. Love how you've photographed them too. Just like your 787...
  8. Yeah that's the photo I looked at and tried to link to in my first post on this topic (post #6 but couldn't correctly link the picture - well it worked when I was adding my reply). It does look for a few seconds just like the Aeroflot scheme and that scheme didn't last too long...
  9. Excellent! I'll be following this one closely. I noticed the narrower flight deck area too when compared to the Revell orbiter. That's a good solution to the problem. The wings are different with the Airfix kit to my eyes having the better shaped wings - they're certainly thinner in profile and the upper surface looks better too where it curves down towards the elevons. There are subtle differences between the two kit orbiters, that maybe if we were to combine them we'd end up with a more accurate shuttle. I wonder if we'll ever have a brand new state of the art full stack kit that's afford
  10. No need to apologise, I'm keeping an eye out for in case Boa do a reprint. Like I said its nice to have some colour variety and pink isn't a colour I've often out through my airbrush!
  11. That's great looking. I was hoping to build a Wizz Air A320 too but Hannants have sold out of the decal sheet. It's nice to have a brightly coloured airliner! Well done and thanks for sharing. Jeff
  12. TOTALLY BRILLIANT!!!! Well done on such a fantastic finished model. The tile decals look great, the MLP looks great, the ET looks great, the SRBs look gre...you get the idea!! Fantastic!! Jeff
  13. Nice photos. What colour are the fan blades? They look gold in that light!! Still not fussed by it...
  14. Too true, the silver paint is nice but the rest? Surely there were nicer alternatives?
