One of the few issues I have with the Hasegawa Phantom Phamily of kits is the main gear struts...seems like they just don't last long...got three on the display shelf that have broken legs... Anyone know of any AM for these..preferably in metal?

Well decided that I better get a build thread going. Going to be a slow build as I don't have as much build time as I would like with the new job. Going to be pretty much straight out of the box with the exception of some resin seats from Avionix... Here is what I'm starting with..... Thanks for looking...

I have been searching the web for the last 4 hours.... Anybody got any photos of VF-92 F-4J's..preferably Silver Kite 211...but I will take anything from that unit that shows a jet in the scheme the squadron was using during May of '72... I'm building a F-4 for the Gone But Not Forgotten group build, going to use the Fox One sheet, but would like at least one photo to look, if for no other reason than motivation!!!! Thanks for any help!!!

Was in Sams Club today getting some tires on SWMBO car and while waiting I was wondering throught the DVD section...and low and behold...the complete series on DVD for $18.99!!!!

What is the difference between a F-4E...F-4EJ...and F-4F?? I have never really been clear on this...

Well since things are progressing nicely with the Foxtrot Super Hornet build I thought I would drag this kit out of the stash and finish it up....started it about a year ago...at the time was my first Hasegawa F-18...got it to the point you will see in the pics and decided to shelve it while waiting on decals...I had seen a picture of the VFA-87 CAG jet from 2006 on Airliners.net and became obsessed with it...VFA-87 CAG...forutnately it wasn't long after that Afterburner announced their sheet and low and behold that jet is on it...so this build got put on hold....I have learned alot in the yea

Okay got the paints in.. and I made a boo boo when I plaed the order..thought I had order thinner as well, but nope...this got me to thinking..on the first thread some folks mentioned everything from warm water for brush painting to the Xtracrylic brand thinnner...what else can be used as thinners for this stuff???
