postimage.org is a good photo site as well. Easy to use and uploads pretty quickly.

Unless you pay Photobucket for a subscription, you can't post your photos online.
-
Definitely not the Revell/Monogram/ProModeler kit. Accurate Miniatures also released a variant of the later kit.

Check at Lonestar Models for Cobra Company sets: http://www.lonestarmodels.com The OV-1 set isn't in production, but if Cobra Company did one, it may be worth contacting Mike West at Lonestar.

To me the interior of that gear door looks more like Yellow Zinc Chromate (untinted ZC) than Interior Green.
-
They aren't ejection seats per se, the F-111 used an escape module instead of two individual ejection seats.

I'm not really keen on assembling individual cylinders to a crankcase, so I'm wondering if anyone has tried to fit the Quickboost FM-2 engine into the Vector cowl? I was able to get the engine done properly on my Czech Models Fireball, hence my hesitation... I will if I have to, but if I can get away with not doing it…

Mike Belcher of "Belcher Bits" has a nice early Naval Lynx conversion. The decals are very nice, too (you get two identical sheets). http://www.belcherbits.com/lines/148conv/bb35.htm#

Hopefully these photos from the 1992-93 timeframe will help: https://postimg.org/gallery/q8u1qkx8/5c4a943b/ Some examples:

Very nice, Philo426.

Not even Azur or MPM have tackled that in 1/48. IIRC, even designs from other companies had a similar, um look, or lack thereof...

If you can find it, it's well worth printing out the Accurate Miniatures guide to installing the turret, it may help ease some frustration that can occur. Try here: http://web.archive.org/web/20070716095942http://www.accurate-miniatures.com/builds/avenger/avengerturret.shtml

A 1/48 early OH-6A, that's up to today's standards would be appreciated. There's been quite a few requests for an AH-1G in 1/48 as well. Maybe if Kittyhawk's UH-1 sells well, then they'll see fit to do them…

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that there were different P-51D seats, I thought they were standardized. Hopefully someone will be along soon with the correct information.
-
The "beer can" fairing was added during one of the upgrades (ICAP 1?).

I did a Google Image search on the term P-51D SEAT and got quite a number of hits. https://www.google.com/search?q=p-51d+seat&client=tablet-android-google&prmd=sivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiL2sbygbzXAhVK4iYKHRbpBrcQ_AUICigC&biw=600&bih=960

If you can find the Hobbycraft variant (this kit was originally a HC kit) cheaper than the Academy and you don't want to go the Hobbyboss route, that would probably be the way to go. The decals were much improved over earlier HC kits.

If anyone has access to Ft Campbell, they've got a OH-58D on static display. It still has all the gear in back and it looks like the MMS is complete, too. I just haven't been able to photos yet, whenever I go to the PX or pharmacy, I forget to take my camera.

I found these on Airliners.net. It looks like some are from the earlier cockpit fit and one is of the later partial "glass" instrument panel. https://goo.gl/exRgGy https://goo.gl/dcfV62 This is the later version: https://goo.gl/6jMNAQ The right side of the cockpit: https://goo.gl/KGJr48

Do you have any decal sheets you can steal the Rescue Arrows from? Maybe a decal sheet of a Cold War era aircraft.
-
As long as the plastic doesn't have any shape errors…

You did a great job on that old kit. I had some VEB-Plasticart kits over the years and they were a bit "challenging."
