I couldn't remember whether they used DDG or not, I just added that to cover my bases…

If it is Dull Dark Green (DDG) or Bronze Green, FS 34092 (European I Do Green) is supposed to be a good match. This color can be found in many model paint ranges.
If it's Interior Green (FS34151) there are a number of good matches out there as well.

Nice job on your A-37. I'm a "small air forces" fan, so this is a real bonus for me.

Lots of manufacturers engraved markings locations on their kits back in the 1950s when this kit was first molded. Probably to aid in painting the markings before decals were readily available. Lots of Aurora (among others) kits had this "feature."

Any update on a release time frame on this?
Yeah, I need to know when to start saving up.

Wow! That has got to be the best build of this kit I've ever seen. Your build is a true masterpiece! Thank you for sharing.

As the title notes, I'm looking for the canopy and windscreen from the Hobbyboss F4F-3 (Late) Wildcat. I want to build my Wildcat as a Martlet III (an aircraft originally ordered by Greece, but taken on charge by the RN after that country fell to the Axis).
I'm looking for the windscreen without the hole as provided for the earlier F4F-3 using the telescopic site.
I know that I need the windscreen, but I've also seen references to the canopy as well being needed for this conversion. I don't know if they actually meant just the windscreen or the canopy as well.
If you'd like I'd be willing to swap my parts for yours.
I will certainly pay postage, however I'd like to keep this transaction in the US to cut down on shipping costs.
Please eMail me at DDonSS3@aol.com or leave me a PM. I don't get to this part of the board often.
Thanks in advance, guys.
This is the kit I've got:
The bottom aircraft is the one I want to do:

I would just keep searching on eBay or your favorite modeling sites for a Hawk kit. They aren't that rare, and they don't seem to be horribly overpriced.
-
It may be worth doing a search for the same subject for Beaufighters. They used (essentially) the same type of exhaust collection, so I'd think colors would be about the same. However, I do think that ghibli's suggestion is a good one.

Oxford Blue? As far as I am aware in '45 FAA Hellcats were either in Temperate Sea Scheme (Extra Dark Sea Grey, Dark Slate Grey & Sky (or US equivalents)) or Gloss Sea Blue (USN Colour). I don't recall seeing any in Oxford Blue.
I have seen images of an Admirals Barge in Oxford Blue but that was a Beech 18
I'm with you, but I just figured the OP wanted to paint his Hellcat in Oxford Blue. I think Oxford Blue is the color I need for my (someday) Aeronavale Lancaster.

Link doesn't work for me, Otto.
As far as I know Bill Koster is still in business. He's got a "new" eMail address:
http://www.swannysmodels.com/KostersKorner.html
Try wkoster22 at att dot net (you'll need to fix the email address).

I like what I'm seeing here. Seems like every time I'd say "that's the scheme I'm going to do" I'd scroll down and see something even more appealing.

Try Modelmaster Steel. That one's enamel.

You should remember that many cockpit photos are taken using a flash on the camera. This will tend to (at least a little bit) "wash out" the colors. So matching paint to photos can be tricky.

My suggestion is to peruse through photos to find ones that give you the angle you want, and then perhaps get a protractor and measure the angle. To me it looks like a slight amount of anhedral, but I'm not 100% sure about that. The following link has over 2200 F-14 shots, there's bound to be something of use to you.
http://www.airfighters.com/photosearch.php?cra=978&sor=2&lim=5&dis=thumbs
This link has over 1900 photos:
Both sites are known for the quality of their photos, and IMO are well worth bookmarking.

That looks great! After all these years, it's hard to believe we don't have a good, modern kit of the AH-1G.

My tablet doesn't play well with this site at work, but go to this site:
http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/search?typ1_c=101&state=0&searchkey=1%2F48 hasegawa
You may need to play with the search terms to get what you want, but it's worth a look.

That's rather obviously the Dwight Eisenhower with CVW-7 aboard. Still, nice shots! I wish the VF-143 markings shown here would be included on a decal sheet some day.
Oops! That's not the first time I mixed the Ike and the Nimitz. Fixed now, thanks for the for the correction.

I took these sometime within a couple of weeks of Eagle Claw. We'd gotten approval to do a flyby of the Ike out in the IO (Indian Ocean). It's amazing how well that "Haze Gray" paint works in an environment like the IO. The first visual indication we had of her was seeing the shadows of the overhangs.
Trying to imagine who the guys cleaning the dust off on the F-14s on the fantail pissed off…
I did just notice (after all these years that the A-6s are still in (partial) Gray over White (looks like the upper surface white has been over sprayed to Light Gull Gray) with the Radome Tan radomes.

As far as I know there aren't any aftermarket seats available for the C-130. As most resin seats are either for WW2 aircraft or ejection seats, you may either just have to put up with the kit seats or scratchbuild some.
-
Looking good, although I don't build 1/72 anymore, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this oldie.

Obscureco makes nice resin props that would work.

Have you, by any chance tried contacting Eduard directly? They may be willing to help.
