  1. Hi there

I've spent a week in Fort Worth, TX being part of different kinds of activities. I've taken cca 1800 shots, and I've uploaded about 500 to my web gallery.

No walkarounds there, but I've done some, so if you feel you need any of the images in larger resolution, or need more photos of a particular jet, I'm sure I can help you providing some for reference!

    What you can find there:

    - My private visit on NAS Fort Worth prior PhanCon 2007, visiting the flightline of 301st FW, also beaing part of EOR procedures while launching 8 Vipers (special thanks to Troy Quigley)

    - PhanCon NAS Fort Worth visit, riding the real C-130 and F-18 sim on the base, tower visit, Air Force and Marines visit

    - FACtoberfest / Cowtown Warbird Roundup - Prowler, Hog, Viper, Rhino, Christine, B-17,and others...

It was really nice to meet some ARCers there, and know them in person!

    Enjoy ;)

  2. I had the pleasure of spending the past few days with Neu (Zoltan) here in Fort Worth Texas.

We let him pet Christine, and photograph an aircraft or two, and see the #2 F-35 on the assembly line.

It was a pleasure to meet you Neu, hope your trip home was quick and easy!

  3. Hi there :D

We have a new milestone I was waiting for a long time! I've been always dreaming of a huge print, which depicts all the jets of the given unit, (preferably Jolly Rogers :) ) with proper modex, buno, names, unique weathering for all jets, mission markings, loadouts, etc. It was a nice dream, but it appeared to be pretty hard to get all the info together properly for all the jets at the same time. I'd say it seems to be impossible...

But things are changing, and if you're pushing it hard, and keep focusing on your dreams, you can achieve it sooner or later. This is exactly what happened now. I was in contact with LCDR Andrew "Jinx" Hayes for a while, as he requested a VF-102 CAG Tomcat from the unit he served earlier. Now he sits in the backseat of AG205, and still keeps in contact with me, which I'm really thankful for! With his really effective help, and hard work, we managed to realize my dream!

This is how it turned out, after more than 6 months of work:

    DP-VFA-103-2007.jpg

The print contains the following jets:

    - F/A-18F Super Hornet VFA-103 Jolly Rogers, AG200 / 166620

    - F/A-18F Super Hornet VFA-103 Jolly Rogers, AG201 / 166621

    - F/A-18F Super Hornet VFA-103 Jolly Rogers, AG202 / 166622

    - F/A-18F Super Hornet VFA-103 Jolly Rogers, AG203 / 166613

    - F/A-18F Super Hornet VFA-103 Jolly Rogers, AG204 / 166619

    - F/A-18F Super Hornet VFA-103 Jolly Rogers, AG205 / 166615

    - F/A-18F Super Hornet VFA-103 Jolly Rogers, AG206 / 166616

    - F/A-18F Super Hornet VFA-103 Jolly Rogers, AG207 / 166617

    - F/A-18F Super Hornet VFA-103 Jolly Rogers, AG210 / 166618

    - F/A-18F Super Hornet VFA-103 Jolly Rogers, AG211 / 166611

    - F/A-18F Super Hornet VFA-103 Jolly Rogers, AG212 / 166612

    - F/A-18F Super Hornet VFA-103 Jolly Rogers, AG214 / 166614

The print shows the jets the dark tails which were removed right after the homecoming! The jets are now looking the same as prior the cruise...unfortunatelly :)

Quad Series prints are depicting 4 different paintschemes used in a given unit at the same time. It's not that usual, it happens mostly when there is an anniversary, or other special events of the unit, and the unit decide to paint up an additional jet for a special paintscheme on the top of their usual ones.

    - F-14D Tomcat VF-31 Tomcatters, AJ101 / 164603
