What a great job! I'd be interested to a set in 1/48 if possible. What is exactly included in the set? 2 stencil set for each missiles?
Thanks in advance!

I don't think it's too long, but there are some problems with the shape from an angle...by the way it's far the most accurate Hornet on the market in this scale. All others has problems overall

Hi
Yesterday I got my 1/350 Trumpeter USS Nimitz. I plan to build it to represent the look of '77/78 cruise and the famous colorful CVW-8 airwing. I was wondering how to achieve a realistic water. If you know a good net resource about making water other than the one here in the Tool 'n' Tipc, and Steelnavy, please let me know! Please keep in mind that I can't use solutions that needs to "bake" the diorama in an oven, becouse of the size of the diorama. (more than 1m/3feet long). Also note that I need lot of water...
Any ideas?

I'm back ;)
Okay....some "improvements" since the last update:
- Scratchbuilt opened refueling probe
- Landing gears (turned nose landing gear with the small red/yellow/green lights  )
- Scratchbuilt gear well doors
- Weathering
- Pylons with some mods
- HUD
- Scratchbuilt windshield, it's thin enough for this scale, the main canopy is still in progress with the internal details
- Exhaust nozzles
- Added the yellow canopy release handle to the ejection seat
Some pics:
I don't have too much time for this or any other projects as we bought a new home and there are lot to do. But I hope you like it!

You can make a new canopy using thermaform. I just made mine few days before on my 1/144 F-18C becouse the original was too thick.

Anything is fine that has a TAC at the end If you describe it to a personnel in the shop, he/she'll know what you're looking for.

Hi
I faced to a problem while I made the cockpit details of my 1/144 Hornet (you can see it in my banner). My smallest tools are huge to superdetailing this scale. I'm wondering where can I found the proper tools for working with VERY small parts. Any ideas, sources, photos of you're stuffs are appreciated!
Happy modeling!

Canopy mask over Future
in Tools 'n' Tips
Posted
Hi there
This is the first time when I want to use future on canopy and paint masks. I'm a bit afraid if the mask is going to pull up the future layer when removing it. Does anybody have bad experiences with it? Should I start? :)
