  1. I have the unmost respect for Tom. Great competitor and a good person from everything that I have heard (this confirms it). I also have the utmost respect for the quality of the Patriots and their skill. I have a tremendous about of respect for Robert Kraft as a person and an owner. But I will always hate the Patriots with every ounce of my body!!!! GO DOLPHINS!!!! (My sentiments about the Brady, Kraft and the Patriots are truly sincere!)
  2. OK. I'll jump on this. First, it was his choice to leave (from what I can tell). Everyone knows in the military if they leave prior to 20 years, you don't get a pension or medical. As for the latter, he has an opportunity to go through the VA disability process (it is slow and painfu) that will cover any of the service induced injuries. That is reality and the way it has been for a very long time. I know of hundreds of people who left with 15+ years of service. Most of them did so voluntarily and usually went into the reserves. I know some who were forced out because of their own actions after
  3. Waco- Mirage III arrived. Thanks again for your generosity and spirit by putting on this event. Best wishes.
  4. Howdy, I am looking for the following: 1/48 F-5F VFC-111 Decals- Markings from the RM or AFV kits are fine. 2012 IPMS Nats Decal- Phlorida Phantoms I'd prefer to trade (I have a wide variety of kits and spare decals- WWII to Modern-1/48), but willing to deal if you want to sell. Prefer to keep within the States. Thanks in advance.
  5. Say it ain't so! The military always knows exactly what it wants and doesn't add things on after (Toungue firmly planted in cheek as he thinks of the Bradley, M1, F-35, ARH, Comanche, Pegasus, Zumwalt, KC-46, F-22.....)
  6. Not unusual when making the jump to flag. Now days, the Army will screen all records and investigations from Lieutenant Colonel and higher. (Not that it affected me personally, but let's just say I have first hand knowledge when I was in the service). As for the reason they didn't do it earlier, that is the issue with the perception that he was protected by being the son of a flag officer. I have seen the poor performance of junior officers whose fathers were GOs overlooked, where others were removed from service or had their records marked. Know of lots of peers as LTs who got General O
  7. Awesome! I was looking to have to scratch build some, but you'll save me that trouble! Look forward to seeing them. Thanks, Raymond!
  8. Do you have a Harbor Freight tools near you? They have plenty of quick disconnects and adapters to meed whatever needs you may have. I used them when I used my pancake compressor for airbrushing in the garage. They also have an online store. I'd also get a couple moisture traps.
  9. If you're looking for an S, I have a spare. Will trade or sell reasonably. Just shoot me a note if interested.
  10. Believe it is the F-18 that keeps hands off at launch. I think F-14 pilots control the stick (while the RIO enjoys the ride).
  11. Thanks for all the replies. Guess short answer is to wait.
  12. I'd like to build the Russian navalized Mig 29. I know the Russian Navy tested a couple, and I believe are trying to sell some to other countries. My Mig knowledge is limited, so will the new GWH kit suffice (9-12?) , or do I need to wait for the next iteration? Thanks,
  13. Thanks again Waco for putting this on! Great job!
  14. I'm waiting for the approved solution to find out the answers.
  15. When I was in Iraq, there were senior officers and NCOs under investigation at all times for sexual misconduct. This stuff is rank indiscriminant. I will reiterate my original comment as most of the comments here are about the individual and not the organization. We would be just adding another problem for the leadership to manage other than their intended purpose.
  16. New (to me) Hobbytown- Colleyville Blvd(HWY 26) and Hall-Johnson Road, Colleyville I drove by that area every week for the last year or so and had no idea it was there. It is in the Colleyville shopping center. It's been there 4 or so years. Not a bad selection of plastic. Excellent selection of supplies and paints. If you're into figures, they have a nice variety to include bases.
  17. Great job, Neo. I didn't take a stab at this one as they were way hard. The defecating character has me :blink:/>
  18. There are women who are physically capable, and may be more capable then some of the men there already. That is irrelevant. I say this as a former combat arms commander of several organizations. The argument is the same as I stated for homosexuals (not that there is anything wrong with it), which is now okay. As a commander, simply don't give me any more issues to deal with that interfere with my combat mission. There were significantly more leadership and other issues in mixed gender units than there were in combat arms organizations. In Iraq, they were shipping about one female a day for
