I also noticed from your model that the D+ Cargo bay Electronic Equipment Compartment is essentially the same from the A. :lol: Right now, I'm using my walkaround of the OV-10A which I made about a year earlier and the actual flight manual from my dad for refs. I'm also planning to scratchbuild the engines with tiny dynamos inside to spin the props, the problem being how to make a suitable transmission system from the motor to the prop. I also obtained great pics of the D+'s cargo compartment including the avionics boxes in the aft clamshell from our friends at the OBA's yahoo groups :D P

They are seriously testing these with Hellfires? Hell, as if they don´t have an impressive firepower, what will be next? Tomahawklaunchers? István Yup sir. In fact (please correct me if I'm wrong, I only got these in a website...), when the AC-130U is still in the development stage, they proposed it to carry hellfires in its pylons. Although tests were successful using a plain C-130, it never entered in the production fleet... They even proposed it to launch UAVs... (It was under the project "Killer Herc")

Hi again! I have to make a request again... Does anybody have a good graphics for the U-boat's current nose art? Since I'm going to build mine in the current config, I need the nose art to make a suitable decal for the current U-boat. Would be great if it is a gif image with white (or better yet, transparent background) thanks again (especially to those who gave valuable images of the U-boat's beaver tail!) :P

The X-33 would have been the best replacement for the shuttle's cargo capabilities... And along with the Proposed CEV, they should have been the perfect predecessor of the shuttle... I just hope that NASA pull the program from the cabinet and start working on it again... (Since they've already made successful test of the aerospike rocket engine...)

Oh dear... I've been thinking about the ISS's maintainability once the shuttle goes to the museums... What if something hit it? (like a fairly sized meteor or space junk) Like in the Intergrated Truss Assembly, or worse yet, the modules? How can they bring spares or in the worse case, bring back the damaged part back here for repair or replacement? There's no way that the CEV, ATV, Soyuz propulsion module, or any launch vehicle available can do these things other than the Shuttle... :) I started thinking if NASA considered this one when they decided to end the Shuttle after the station i

The best I can tell you is to find the 1/72 AMT AC-130U and try to replicate (and scale-up) that beaver tail. Of course it won't have the DIRCM sensors, but at least the shape will be right. I've heard some rumors that Russia plans to ressurect Buran... Anyone heard of it yet?

It looks odd, but as long as Lockheed promises that It will do all of its capabilities with no hassle (like its F-35), I think it will be fine... Still, the question is... what kind of vehicle will NASA be proposing to replace the heavy cargo capabilities of the Shuttle? Those MPLMs for the ISS could be left to the junkyard if they can't be tossed into orbit (well based on NASA's Launch manifest though... They didn't mention putting those MPLMs in the ISS permanently you know, and they also have a potential to be permanent Station modules... ;) )

BTW, does anybody have a shot of the U-Boat's beaver tail? I really want to saw off the Italeri beaver tail and make the correct one :lol:
