    AC-130U Spooky II

Hi again to all... I'm really getting itchy to start the U-Boat, and I have yet again, a request... Does anybody have a drawing of the U-Boat's 3 guns? Thanks to all
  3. So the kits panel lines are (in fact?) more accurate when raised? I have the 1/48 scale AC-130U here, and was thinking of rescribing, but after reading this, I now have second thoughts (which for me, sounded good, cause its gonna save me an awful lot of time...) BTW, does anyone have a pic of the Herk's chimes mising on the italeri kit and that "Hips" effect? And, does anyone have a declassified cargo bay layout for this gunship? I have one, but it's somewhat blurry, but the main features are present, and I'm starting to find shots of the BMC booth at google...
  4. Wow!!! Now that cleared everything!!! Thanks!!! As for the in flight snacks, I just remembered my dad telling me how he ate snacks while flying... The OV-10A AFAIK doesn't have an autopilot, so he told me that while in cruise, either observer takes over control, or he could clamp the stick between his knees and eat  Speaking of snacks, are you also thinking of adding a bag of chips? Or for something healthy, maybe some carrot sticks or finger veggies? :( :D
  5. O Goodie!!! Thanks a Billion sir!!! :)
  6. All right!!! Um, Sir, can you post the plans for the tuboprops? I'm having trouble on mine because the one I have on the flight manual of the OV-10A was not good, and I'm still having confusions in the pics that I took of the real engines...
  7. BTW, I was wondering if the Garrett Airesearch Turboprops will be included... :D
  8. Oops!!! I didn't pay attention to the pics, the starboard side will be open!
  9. Getting better sir!!! Um, Can I bet that the starboard canopy/doors will be posed open?
  10. Now that's something I've been looking for!!! Keep it up Sir!!!! I'm not gonna be surprised if this build will win a major model show. It will certainly bag some pretty big prizes, I'm betting for best aircraft, people's choice, best subject etc... :D
  11. Thanks sir!!! Well I'm going to build it in card first, so that I'll have an idea on what to expect when we finally do it in sheet plastic. I'll also post an in-progress thread about it when I have some time. About that mystery box, well since the D+ have plus more electronic equipment than the A, I think it was intended for those items... But like I've said before, I'm not really sure. The only Bronco that I came close with (many times, since childhood) was the A, and more recently, the C variant when the RTAF transferred their OV-10s to the Phil AF... Clear parts were you're Achilles heel
  12. Hi sir!!! If my hunch is right, its still a part of the circuit breaker system, but I'm not sure.I've only seen this on your cockpit shot of the D+. I've never seen this one in my dad's OV-10A... Try asking our friends at the yahoo ov_10fans group, I'm sure someone knows this item ;) But still, great job on scratchbuilding it! As for me, before I proceed with correcting the Academy kit details, I (and a senior member of IPMS Philippines Bert Anido Chapter[the same guy who scratchbuild the HU-16 Albatross in Phil. AF scheme {see our gallery}]) will attemp to build 2 1/32 scale OV-10As i
  13. Wow! Just like the real mccoy!!!
  14. Oh I see!!! This will be something else!!!
  15. Hi sir!!! Glad to see another Bronco build today!!! Um, just one question, is this going to be the YOV-10D? If so, the old A props should be used, well, if its the early YOV-10D that is...

    Big(ger) scale OV-10

I've already printed the kit, and I must say its BIG! The wings just dwarfed my 1/72 academy kit! I really can't wait to make this one!
  17. Check out www.ov-10bronco.net, they have a really good info about the black ponies in addition to the black ponies site
  18. We all know that the largest OV-10 kit is that from the (suckingly bad  ) Hawk/Testors 1/48 kit, which needed the excellent Paragon detail sets to make it realistic... But have you ever wondered if a larger model of the venerable FAC existed? In fact, there IS a larger one... in 1/32 scale... Well its not a plastic model though, but rather a cardboard model This is the ModelArt 1/32 scale OV-10A, designed by the card model designer Dr. Emil Zarkov, who is continuously churning out superbly detailed cardboard models, all done in this scale (well some of his models are in 1/72 scale

    OV-10 'D' NOGS Bronco

If I'm not mistaken, the 3 barrel gun of the NOGS Bronco is identical to that of the AH-1 Cobra
  20. Hope this works!!! I'm building a 1/100 scale cardboard model of the Space Shuttle Atlantis stack. Um... I still haven't took any pics of the inprog shots because our camera is still used by my sister, but this will be the looks (basically) of the finished models... The shuttle featured here is Endeavour (STS-88 Configuration) but the Atlantis model is almost identical, the only difference will be the Decals of the names <_< I also added some extras, like retractable landing gears, and the shuttle can be removed from the ET/SRB stack. Its still in the works, but hopefully, it w
  21. A certified Jawdropper!
  22. OH YEAH!!! That's it!!! Thanks very much sir!!!
  23. Um, does anybody have a good link on some diagrams of the Shuttle's landing gears?, Well I already have one, but it was lost when our computer was reformatted, and I can't remember what site it came from... Thanks
