The wing lower surfaces are painted black.

The TPS scheme is done. Now to paint and add the rest of the small parts.

Want to purchase an AMT 1/72 F-111A Aardvark complete kit and un started.

The light and dark ghost grays are done, now for the final color medium gray FS35237.

I was considering an early version of the Tomcat from the early 70s. Is the best 1/72 Hasegawa kit for one with the early beaver tail kit K39, Wolfpack boxing?

Some more progress, cockpit and nose glass added plus intakes and exhausts done.

I just looked over where I was and I am not painting the third color on the fuselage. I am painting the second color on the forward sides of the fuselage FS 36320. The area I taped off on the top of the wing gloves and cockpit-nose area get the darkest color last, FS 35237. I haven't worked on this in a while and lost track of where I was. Here is a schematic of the TPS scheme I am using and the weapons load for Maverick's Top Gun F-14A.

I changed subjects. I am now hunting decals for Maverick's Top Gun F-14A. I have the parts painted, wings,stabs missiles and 2 of the three TPS colors on the fuselage. I am masking for the last TPS color now.

Mr Hobby makes kits also????? Does Tamiya kits runs circles around Mr Hobby, Mr Paint and AK KITS!!!!! REALLY?????

The fuselage is all sanded , masked and the bottom painted black. I just started masking the wings.

Thanks, no crew planned, I'm way behind on all my other projects so I am keeping this simple and fast, I hope. The fuselage is all closed up.

You talking about the 6 hole paint pallet Dutch? It's for thinning Valejo Model Color paint to brush paint, It is too thick to brush properly so I thin it a bit for better coverage.

The interior painted, assembled and installed in the right fuselage half.
