I did a little work over the last month. I partially painted the fuselage. I use spray cans and was concerned about my ability to get paint and masks on under the wings, I am also getting the engines mounted on the wings. The OzMods engines are a little bigger than the mounting nacelles on the model, so putty and sanding (my two least favorite modeling activities) was the order of the day. After getting everything done, I somehow snapped the one engine off and am now redoing the putty/sanding routine. 😞 I also started
  2. My wife would divorce me if I spent that much for some after market parts.
  3. 98% done. I just need to fabricate and attach the winglets. I think I finally found a good photo and will finish this after a couple of road trips this week and next.
  4. My apologies, I went into my album and most of my URGENT FURY pics are missing. Sorry.

    Info on EC-47's

The EC-47 nose was elongated IIRC.
  6. We didn't have seats installed, just sat on the floor.
  7. Please let us know how the nose goes. I too have the DB nose, and was thinking I'd have to go with the Italeri kit.

    BONE build

I think it would be rare for the crew to mix Flight Suit colors as the colors are theater specific (CentCom=Tan). This YouTube video show flight suits, and no G-suit. .

Hard to see, but the Blackdog exhausts fill the hole in nicely.
  10. 82nd CAB? I'll dig my photos up if you'd like.
  11. Is that a true HUD, or just a gunsite?

Slowly, like a snail, coming along.
  13. How did you pay? Try to get your money back before it's too late.
  14. Disagree on the similarities point. Same engine, fuselage, tail, cockpit, etc. They'd have to design new wings, landing gear and add a tail hook. CAD is wonderful
  15. I'll remember that when I (eventually) start a 135 model.
  16. The OzMods nacelle exhausts are a straight hole, I am cutting black dog exhausts down to fit. Here are a couple of pics with the nacelles on. Will post some more photos next week after I install the Black Dog exhausts.
  17. I missed the "could be great for Europe, I thought he was talking about the US. My understanding is the C-27J doesn't have great hot weather performance, so making it a MAFFS bird might be dicey.
  18. Hellfires on and drying. Couple of paint touch ups and I am done.
