  1. Hello, This post concerns Cutting Edge CEC4829 A-26B 6-Gun Nose Conversion Kit. I recently purchased the kit. The contents of the kit did not contain the metal tubing (hypodermic tubing) for solid machine gun jackets (gun blast tubes). The instructions indicate hypodermic tubing should be used for the gun blast tubes. The question is: What size of metal tubing (brass, aluminum) or hypodermic tubing is proper for the blast tubes on a 1/48 scale Counter Invader? Thanks, Ellis W
  2. My intention is kit bash replacing the Matchbox cowl with the Tamiya Raider cowl.
  3. Answered my own question after some research. Link below talks about Hypercat Resin and the origin of the cowl Interesting reveal. https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/hyperscale/viewtopic.php?p=2585914#p2585914
  4. Does any one know the correct name of the start up cottage company (Hypercat) mentioned in the quote? Or is a comparable cowl made since this excellent posting?
  5. I am trying to identify the components of Tom’s Modelworks kit. I have a TMW kit without any instructions. All the parts are resin. It is hard to believe that a TMW kit did not have a PE fret. Does anyone have instructions to this conversion?
  6. Nice kit. Probably the gold standard in B-26K conversion kits. I am trying to identify the components of Tom’s Modelworks kit. I have a TMW kit without any instructions. All the parts are resin. It is hard to believe that a TMW kit did not have a PE fret.
  7. Does anyone have the instructions to Tom’s Modelworks B-26K conversion kit?
  8. G’Day, Wanted to buy for a reasonable price 1/144 A-4. Kit not started and complete. Understood reasonable price is relative. Platz is preferable. Other brands considered. Thank you.
