Please clarify: What is ZM A-1?

My intention is kit bash replacing the Matchbox cowl with the Tamiya Raider cowl.

Does any one know the correct name of the start up cottage company (Hypercat) mentioned in the quote? Or is a comparable cowl made since this excellent posting?

I am trying to identify the components of Tom’s Modelworks kit. I have a TMW kit without any instructions. All the parts are resin. It is hard to believe that a TMW kit did not have a PE fret. Does anyone have instructions to this conversion?
