  1. Since the beggining I was upset with the absence of the handle above the rear window. It's time to make it.
  2. Rudder ready. I've used the DSPIAE Electric Sander, it made it much easier.
  3. I'm amazed... How to you know so many small detais of this aircraft? Are you a pilot? Do you work in a AF maintenance facility? I just can't believe that these enormous amount of lovely details are just from walkaround pictures... Please, keep posting!
  4. Then I decided to separate the rudder. I hope to not regret this decision in the future. It was the first time using this JLC razor saw. It`s wuite impressive, a very clean cut. And for the sanding I used these sanding foams from DSPIAE. I'm amazed with all these new tools that didn't exists a decade ago when I begun my modelling hiatus.
  5. I started with the test-fit. The fuselage is ok. Wings maybe not so ok. And joining fuselage and wings will definitively require a lot of sanding and adjusting. 🥵
  6. Hi Guys, It`s been like forever since the last time I posted something here (as far as I remember, this is my last topic here ). I spent last X-mas with my family in Switzerland and, there, in a model shop in Lausanne, I purchased this one. I've heard that it's beter than the Heller's. I don't know. The Fly model loks good, but the fitting is far from being a Tamiya... Looks like it's going to give me a lot of sanding and adjusting... I'll built the A-208 version. On my researches I've seen some places saying it was silver, but I bet it was RLM 63 (li
  7. Michel, It's a little hard because there's a lot of itens that I do not know the correct term in english, but I'll try. The "concrete" part is a piece of plasticard (2mm), the "embankment" is styrofoam, the wood is... wood (incredible, hun? ) I don't know how it is called in engliesh, but is that wood used to build R/C airplanes and gliders. The white compound I used to make the terrain is an acrilyc product used to fill holes in walls, ceiling, floor etc, before painting (I realy don't know it's name) and the grass is woodland scenic's grass (I don't know the exact type, because WS has a
  8. Hi Michel, This Madman is a watchmaker, that explains a lot. He's really a madman... I'm not so insane (I guess). This dio was made a few years ago just to photopraph the models, it was very simple to make: No secret, very easy and gives a nice touch to the models... About my next build, I don't know yet, but probably will be a soviet plane. Cheers
  9. Sure. I use stretched plastic. But not sprue. I tried with several kinds of plastic to see what is the best to stretch and the best I found is the plastic used on the injection needle. It can be stretched endlessly, you can stretch it until the thickness you want. I just can't garantee that the needles you'll find in your country are made of the same tipe of plastic, but you can give a try. Cheers
  10. Hi Guys, I just finished this tiny bird. The complete build can be seen here: http://s362974870.onlinehome.us/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=241331&st=0 Cheers
  11. I added a little detail, the metal belt to the drop tank (using aliminum foil): The wash was made with promodelers product: ...And it's done!! I liked the result and hope you liked too. See you on the next build!! Cheers!
  12. Michel, I thined with 99%GL alcohol. I have already heard about using ajax or teenax to thin acrilic paint. I'll made a try! Thanks for the tip! cheers
  13. Hi Chris!! I looked at your Junkers, very unusual subject! I don't think I'd build this plane...lol, but you're doing a great job!!
