I looked for a long time for an acrylic metal paint. I was very happy when Vallejo came out with this paint.

All the paints are acrylic. I used Vallejo Metal Air paints for the metallic paints along with Vallejo Air for the other colours.

Haven’t posted here for a bit. Here is my Tamiya P-47D Thunderbolt. I added an Ultracast resin seat and used Mike Grant decals for the markings. For the paint I used Vallejo throughout except I used Mission Models black primer.

Turned out great! It took you long enough but it was worth it. Congrats on the win also. -
Painted with Vallejo paints. Decals from the kit. The seal around the windows was painted on then distressed with a toothpick. I tried to emulate the real thing. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Sozrmz686EQZVngH7 https://photos.app.goo.gl/GMQ1nAo1CT8TkWG88 https://photos.app.goo.gl/Zk5dbvAo9HSPBjPs5 https://photos.app.goo.gl/ByQyGg5HwzL1dCyv8

Hi all, I am currently working on Revell's PV-1 Ventura, which I am doing up in Canadian markings from the early 50's. My question is what style of bombs did we use at that time? American or British? The version I want to do is a B> Ventura from RCAF Station Trenton. thanks, Wayne Beattie

The topic says it all. I am currently building an A-20G and wondering what the interior colour the engine nacelle would be. I am leaning towards interior green. Thnaks, Wayne Beattie

What builds are you planning in 2017?
Quiddy replied to falcon20driver's topic in General Discussion
In early 2017, I am going to finish my Trumpeter Seahawk 100. Then I am going to finish my Draken that has been sitting on the desk for a little while. My plan is finish my Mig-23 , Mig-21, C-45F in Canadian markings. I want to start a CF-104D as well as a A-37B. There could be a few more that I start but may have to finish in 2018.Too many kits not enough time. -

This is my first build with these paints. So far I really have no complaints. I let the paint dry roughly 24 hours between painting and masking just like their other paints I use. After about an hour they are dry to the touch but for me I still let them sit for a day. The coverage is good. A couple of light coats and its done. I painted the darker panels with dark aluminum. After the masking was pulled, my personal take on it was there was to much contrast. I may have put too many coats on. I thinned the aluminum a little bit more and over sprayed it. It did cut the contrast a bit. Other than

This Is the ProModeler F-84 painted with the new Vallejo metallic paints. I used Aluminum, Dark Aluminum and Steel. The markings are from Aeromaster. All comments are welcome. Wayne

I have the fuselage together. Not sure if it was my fault but I had a nice size trench to fill between the upper and lower front fuselage section. Fix it with some Superglue as filler. Next comes the wings. I am not putting any rockets on this one. All comments are welcome. Wayne

Thanks for the advice. I have the tail section together already. Still haven't even looked at the cockpit yet. Opening up the gun ports right now. Wayne

painted the main landing gear bay. I am using Vallejo paints for the whole kit and the new Vallejo metal paints for the landing gear bays. I painted it using the Dark Aluminum. The landing gear bay is just dry fitted against the bottom fuselage. All comments welcome Wayne

Hi all, been a long while since I started a build on here. I got this from Flanker27 during the Great Christmas Raffle on here. For this kit I didn't start with the cockpit. I started with the main landing gear wells. I am also going to open up the gun troughs because on the kit they are just dents. For it being such a recent kit some parts need some work to look presentable. The intakes for instance, a lot of work to clean up. Not sure the markings I am going to do, but I am leaning towards a Netherlands Navy plane if I can get the decals. All comments are welcome. Wayne

Anyone know anything about this kit? I don't recall hearing anything about this company. Thanks, Wayne Beattie
