RNZAF Museum has the Markings wrong aswell. They have the incorrect font for "Rongotea", incorrect roundels on the upper wings, spinner colour and no serial number.

Verlinden does a set with 4 Bomber crew..

Thanks guys... much appreciated! The Serial number is incorrect, also the colours of the Spinner and Shield on the lower cowl.

Tamiya Mk.XVI Spitfire in markings from 485 (NZ) Squadron, "Rongotea" piloted by Murrany Lind, Fassberg, Germany, 1945. This scheme is included in the kit, but is unfortunately incorrect. There is a 12 page featured build article that in is Septembers 2011 Aircraft issue of Military Illustrated Modeller.

Who says it a new kit or product? Their site states "Stay tuned as we are excited to showcase the efforts of Tamiya America. " If it was a new release, I would think Tamiya Japan would be braking the news...
