  1. Built in just under 10 evenings, completely out of the box with exception of the TwoBobs 36 Fighter Squadron 100 Year Anniversary sheet I got while in Korea. I was deployed to Osan AB and regularly saw this jet out on the line and was excited to see this sheet in one of the hobby shops in Seoul.
  2. Here are photos of the F-117 at the Castle Air Museum.
  3. I've got one set, it would be sans roundels, stencils, etc... Draw Decal also puts out a Martinsburg set as well. https://www.drawdecal.com/product/1144-air-guard-c-5s/
  4. Took this today. Better view all the way to the compressor section.
  5. Here is a closer image of the intake color. FS 34424 does look like a close match to me. The green does extend all the way to the compressor face. The MLG, tailwheel, and wing spoiler wells are also this same color.
  6. I did that method for the Italeri kit and had good results.
  7. Wow that's a great shot. I stand corrected on the spur, I just haven't seen it on recent ER-2 sorties. I'll ask my coworker who flies the ER-2 to see if they still do. You can even see the folded wingtips as well which is quite rare to see.
  8. That does look quite close! Funny enough with the subject being a U-2R.
  9. There are quite a lot of differences. The cockpit differs from the U-2R, being a mix of the old Block 10 and some new digital gauges. The nose and Super Pods would need modifications as well due to different measuring equipment. The pitot tubes underneath the nose are modified due to the nose shape. Wing tips are shaped differently as well. Note the spine antenna below U-2R Cockpit ER-2 Cockpit
  10. I would also say the rivets are a bit overdone in scale but are a good approximation of what's on the jet for real. The aileron and elevator surface is thinner gauge metal than most of the wing structure so it displays some ribbing wear in real life. I can provide photos if needed. As far as configuration, a slick nose and senor spur is very possible for the time period depicted.
  11. Recently finished this as a gift for a co-worker. This kit was a pain to build in general. My first time re-scribing and it was not my best work. The TU-2S has never flown with super-pods so they needed to go. The raised portions were cut and filled with sheet styrene. Since I knew it was going to be on a stick, there were no frills used on the inside besides a dashboard cover and a modification to the windshield so the frameless "S" model standard. The BAM Models windscreen did not arrive in time. Decals are mostly ALPS printed and turned out decent for a first print. I am
  12. As title states, if anyone has an extra C-17 clear parts sprue or canopy, I am interested.
  13. That would be pretty easy for me to draw up and print with the ALPS printer.
