  1. Wow that's a great shot. I stand corrected on the spur, I just haven't seen it on recent ER-2 sorties. I'll ask my coworker who flies the ER-2 to see if they still do. You can even see the folded wingtips as well which is quite rare to see.
  2. That does look quite close! Funny enough with the subject being a U-2R.
  3. There are quite a lot of differences. The cockpit differs from the U-2R, being a mix of the old Block 10 and some new digital gauges. The nose and Super Pods would need modifications as well due to different measuring equipment. The pitot tubes underneath the nose are modified due to the nose shape. Wing tips are shaped differently as well. Note the spine antenna below U-2R Cockpit ER-2 Cockpit
  4. I would also say the rivets are a bit overdone in scale but are a good approximation of what's on the jet for real. The aileron and elevator surface is thinner gauge metal than most of the wing structure so it displays some ribbing wear in real life. I can provide photos if needed. As far as configuration, a slick nose and senor spur is very possible for the time period depicted.
  5. Recently finished this as a gift for a co-worker. This kit was a pain to build in general. My first time re-scribing and it was not my best work. The TU-2S has never flown with super-pods so they needed to go. The raised portions were cut and filled with sheet styrene. Since I knew it was going to be on a stick, there were no frills used on the inside besides a dashboard cover and a modification to the windshield so the frameless "S" model standard. The BAM Models windscreen did not arrive in time. Decals are mostly ALPS printed and turned out decent for a first print. I am
  6. As title states, if anyone has an extra C-17 clear parts sprue or canopy, I am interested.
  7. That would be pretty easy for me to draw up and print with the ALPS printer.
  8. Don't know if this helps at all, you can see the rear of the gear sponsons and the black IR sensor directly below the rudder. C-141 Heaven has more photos of the front as well. There is also another SOLL II C-141 on display at McGuire AFB as well.
  9. As title says, looking for a scan of the instructions for the old ID Models/Combat Models 1/72 C-5 Galaxy. I can provide some compensation for your time scanning them or buying them outright. Shoot me a PM if you can help. Cheers, Jack
  10. I can get you some if you need them. I see this jet daily since i'm stationed there.
  11. Yeah, its pretty old tech. I have been using it with a PCI Express card and it works pretty well.
  12. Is anybody here interested in an ALPS MD-1000? It works great, no banding and includes the box and 4 standard CMYK ink cassettes plus one white cassette. I have the parallel port cord and some drivers/instructions how to get it to print. Make me an offer!
  13. As title states, looking for the T-6A in 1/48. PM me if you have one up for grabs!
