  1. Here is my third HPM Mirage after the egyptian one and the argentinian one. The Dassault Mirage 5F had several lives. In 1966, Israel ordered 50 plane named Mirage V. It was based on a IIIE, without radar, and more fuel storage for attack missions. French President De Gaulle decided an embargo on these aircrafts because of the 1967 war in the middle east. All these aircraft finally went to Armée de l'Air in 1970 under the Mirage 5F name. This plane became a very good ground-attack aircraft. This kit is my third High Planes Mirage, after my egyptian and my argentina Mirages. It's good kits b
  2. Hi, The RT-2PM Topol, NATO reporting name SS-25 Sickle is a mobile intercontinental ballistic missile. This very unique vehicle has been designed in the Soviet Union at the end of 70’s. And it entered in service in the middle of 80’s. Throughout this time work continued on improving the battle management system. And Topol is still in service with Russia's Strategic Missile Troops. It a very good kit from Zvezda. With a lot of details (309 parts), the kit is easy to build and very well engineered. It’s a pleasure to just cut an glue together all the parts and everything fit well. The moldi
  3. Hi, First, I wanted to do a quick build, a little model to come with some soviet planes. I left this build few months during 2014. It came back on my workbench because I wanted to test some new skills of weathering to help me on finishing my Topol. At least, it's not so bad. Many mistakes, my building was too fast, the finishing touch are far from perfection !! But I like it. The complete build can be found there : http://maquette72.free.fr/articles/2014_103_zil157_trump/index103_pap.php Please, don't be afraid to give me your opinion about this build. I don't use very w

  6. Hi, Here is my last model. It is my second HPM Mirage after the egyptian one. The Israel Aircraft Industries Nesher (IAI Nesher) is the Israeli version of the Dassault Mirage 5 multi-role fighter aircraft. It was built by IAI after the French government arms embargo on Israel (in response to the 1968 Israeli raid on Lebanon). Israel coundn't replace their lost planes during the Six Days Wars. So, they decided to build their own plane based on the Mirage. Production began in 1969 and the first plane was delivered in 1971. The plane took then the name of Nesher (Raam previously). At the en
  7. Hi, Here is my last model. The Egyptian pilots were introduced to Mirage-III/5 fighters in the beginning of the seventies when about 20 Egyptian pilots traveled to Libya to fly its Mirage fighters. Egyptian pilots flew Libyan Mirage fighters during the war and they were pleased for its high performance. The major order for Mirage-5 fighters was 1975 and the order was funded by some Saudi Arabia. Egypt went in a large Mirage-5 purchasing program in which she purchased more than 54 Mirage-5SDE, 16 Mirage-5SDDS, 6 Mirage-5SDDR and 16 Mirage-5SDDE2. Egyptian fighters were modified by advance

  9. Hello, Here is my last model.. The KS-1 Kometa (AS-1 Kennel NATO désignation) was the first soviet guided antishipping missile. It was designed by KB-1 under the leadership of S.L. Beria in 1952. This outstanding missile has become the backbone of Soviet tactical "rocket shield" for decades. Various modifications were adopted for all kinds of soviet Armed Forces : KS-1 for air force, KFR-1 / KS-7 for army with chemical and nuclear warhead, KSS for navy and KRM-1 for coastal command. It was widely used till the end of 80th as air target.. The Kometa missile weapon system entered service
  10. Bonjour, Here is my new model : a VTUAV : a Vertical Take-off UAV. It's so little at 1/72 scale ! It's a Northrop Grumman MQ-8B Firescout, already operational with US Navy. This helicopter was first studied in 2000. It's derived from the Schweizer 333, a litlle two-seat civil helicopter. This type of machine is very useful because you can use it from small ship deck and you need no airfield. It can be equipped with old Hellfire missiles, but also with the newly GBU-44 Viper Strike and with APKWS Hydra 70 missiles. The first examples are already operational. First deployement are in 2010
