  1. I always thought this was a Jumbo Jet <_< (sorry, couldn't resist)
  2. Do you mean obtaining MM Paints in Europe? Or do you mean obtaining alternatives for MM paints in Europe? When I look at your name, I assume that you are Dutch. For your information, MMpaints are availlable here in Holland. They are not as widely availlable as Revell, Tamiya or Humbrol, but a few stores carry them. Where do you exactly live?
  3. My advice, get one of the Monogram Promodeller F-4e models. These are reissue's of the Hasegawa ones with markings for a couple of planes from Homestead AFB in Florida. Two are marked as a MiG-killer, so they have sure seen action. Camouflage is the S.E.A. scheme. The kit includes Sidewinders and Sparrows These kits are really nice and can be found on eBay realy cheap sometimes.
  4. In short, the short one. The only pic I found shows it without the Midas 4 fairing. Perhaps later it was retrofitted on it? Do the CAM-decals mention a year?
  5. Are those the same horizontal ejector racks as used on F/A-18's? And if so, are these also used on Tornado's? Because when looking for a cool load out for a RAF Tornado, I've read that during Dessert Storm RAF Tornado's carried sometimes 8 GP bombs on the centerline stations. And I just can't see those attached directly to the pylons.
  6. Maple Flag... Or if you're into farming a bit: Massey Ferguson.
  7. Hey Mike, Did you get those instructions I e-mailed to you? Pete
  8. And I have the B-57b instructions. Send me a PM and will e-mail them to you.
  9. I knew that I could use this one day!, Here is a pic I took 2 years ago at Valkenburg, at the last open day.
  10. According to the IPMS Stockholm pages, the English colors were used on the Hunters. Only during their final years did they receive a different color for their undersides (grey, instead of aluminium). I'm sure that the colors varried at the time, because of fading, different paint batches, etc. Check this site for the full story: IPMS Stockholm

    P-3C Orion

I have seen a couple of pics from a few months before they were transferred to the German Navy. There was at least one plane carrying Harpoons (probably training rounds) on the wing pylons. I'll see if I can find that pic somewhere.
  12. I guess the translation for Norm into english is Standard. As in Federal Standard. The number behind refers to the year when it was introduced. The Revell boxings of German Tornado's include decals to make it into a Norm'83 bird, at least the kit with the Tigermeet tail has it (kit.no 04361). I'm not sure about the others, though.
  13. Did you find that pic yet? Or, as posted here before the Forum went down, you could check the Don Color page. Most, if not all German Phantom schemes are shown here.
  14. Do you have a pic of this scheme? There were a lot of trial scheme's when the German Phantom Phleet transferred from the Norm '72 scheme to the Norm '81 scheme, and later when transferring to the Norm'90 scheme.
  15. What's wrong with the Fujimi one? I have one, but I haven't build it yet. On first inspection it looks like a Hornet to me.

    Revell RF4E

THIS is the old kit 4338:To be avoided!! This the more recent release and new kit 4308:Still not completely accurate, but way beter then the old one.

    Revell RF4E

Run away as fast as you can from that kit! It's ancient, horribly inaccurate, very crude and covered with rivets. It has nothing to do with the new release from the late nineties which as about to be re-released with Tigermeet markings. I've bought 4338 a couple of years ago and was very dissapointed by it. It looked like an old Matchbox offering or something like that. So if you already have it, launch it into space, burn it in the name off science, or something else creative, but don't build it. You will regret it.
  18. Here you go. I thought I had more, but there were only three in the book. Phantom Guardians from Osprey Aerospace, covers every ANG squadron that flew Phantoms. Not much text, just pictures with captions. I've seen a decal set covering this subject, I believe it was from Superscale/Microscale. Try eBay, it might pop up some day. Good luck with it, and show it when finished. The real thing looks spectacular, so the model should be a real eye-catcher too!
  19. Here ya go. Here is one: Click me! I have some more in a book, including inflight pictures with the underside showing. Send me a PM if you're interested, i'll try to scan them for you.
  20. Go for the Monogram kit! It was also released by Revell, altough not recently. It still has raised panel lines, but otherwise it is a great little kit. It is essentially a downsized 1/48 "Thud" by Monogram. You could also wait for the all new Trumpeter kit that is supposed to come out this year.

    F-5 IAI photos

The Israeli airforce never used the F-5, so I guess there aren't many photo's availlable. Do you happen to know the story behind the picture you posted? Maybe that can lead us to more.
  22. I've just sent them to you. I hope your e-mail account can handle large e-mails (up to 8.5 MB), and that you have a fast internet connection. If it doesn't work out, contact me and I'll see what i can do.
  23. Could you PM me your e-mail adress, I have the instructions ready for you.

    Dump Truck decals

I have the Hasegawa Skyraider (1/72) in my stash. The box and the instructions are for the USAF Vietnam version, but somehow Hasegawa put the wrong decals in the box. The decals are for a Korean war version, for a plane of VA-65. At first I was not amused with this mistake, but I'm starting to like this version over the Usaf version. Plus, I can use those strange clusterbomb launchers for my new Italeri A-26. So, my question is: Does anyone have the instructions for the VA-65 bird? The box should say: AD-6 Skyraider "First of the fleet" (No. 00023). Thanks in advance.
