  1. So many options in the stash, I don't know what to pick. 1/72: Gannet, Tornado, Eurofighter, T-33, MiG-29, H-34, Do-28 1/48: Tornado, F-4F, Sabre I'll think of something.
  2. The forum is up, people! Wait....what?
  3. Neo said he will set up the forum tonight.
  4. I allerted Neo earlier today, hopefully he'll read it soon and will open the GB forum. What's your idea?
  5. I think they're ECM antennas. I asked something simmilar last year about early A-7E's, and you can find some info and a few pics in this thread: clickie

Here's my 1/72 Revell Fw-200C-8, straight OOB. I can't reccomend this kit enough. Painted with ModelMaster, Xtracolor and Humbrol.

    Fw-200C-5/C-8

And finished! Pics can be found in the gallery.
  8. They are clear white lights, to light up the tail. See here.

All shiny now and done with the decals. Next up is a wash.
  10. That is a great looking Streak, Paul. Which kit did you use?
  11. I have the sheet, minus the red marked USAF decals. You can have it if you want. PM me your adress and I'll send it to you. My sheet doesn't come with the instructions, but I assume you still have those. As for the Microscale liquid decal film starting to form bubbles, that's new to me. But usually I only apply it shortly before using the decals. Maybe putting some more on the bubbled bits before using them might be a good idea.
  12. Airfix had a fishbowl canopy Canberra kit from the 70's too. I suppose this set is meant for that kit. Not sure why they also included Italeri.
  13. My two Fujimi A-7E's. One US Navy, VA-146 from the USS Constellation in '71-'72, and one from the Hellenic Air Force.
  14. Thanks, both of you. Gianni, maybe next time. The kit Shrikes do look a bit underwhelming now, yes. That Attack Squadron stuff is on my "to try" list for sure. Anyway, they're about done. Here's one pic for now. I'll post some more in the finished builds section tomorrow.
  15. Hmm, for some reason the forum software won't let you delete your votes. This was possible on the old forums. It's not something I can change with the edit function. Choose wisely, people!
  16. I changed it, you can now vote on multiple ideas.
  17. It's time to come up with some new Group Builds. Me and the other GB mods have some ideas. Take a look at the poll, and vote to let us know what you think. Other suggestions are of course welcome. I will explain the subjects a bit more. Twin props: That speaks for itself, I think. Build anything that has two propellors. Modern turboprops, radials, inlines, anything goes. Planes that have jet assistance like the P-2 Neptune are fine with me as well. Twin tails: Anything that has more than one vertical tail counts. So P-38's, F/A-18's, Constellations, that kin
  18. Well, I finally got me some ordnance for the Corsairs today. They're Brassin, and very nice. The M117's will go on the Greek bird, and the Rockeyes will go on the USN one, along with some Shrike missiles from the kit.

The upper surfaces have been painted. The lighter color is Xtracolor's RLM 72, and the darker stuff is Humbrol RLM's 73. I wish I hadn't used the Xtracolor paint, it's been on for about a week now, and it's still tacky. At the moment I'm busy masking for the underside.
  20. Well, I got the wings on, and most of the nacelles. Oddly enough the fit of these parts is much worse than the fuselage, so plenty of filling and sanding now. But the shape is there.
  21. That is quite amazing. It's almost like screenshots from the series or movies. Though I'm not sure posting a link to the slideshow would be the best way to display it here. When I wanted to check it on my phone, I just got a bunch of spam instead. Maybe it's an idea to post a few pics of it too?
