  1. Update! Neckbones fixed, and the modified tail is attached. Some more modifications to the skull have also been made. Mostly around the nostrils.
  2. Awesome Ankylosaurus! Did you know that the Akylosaurs even had bone in its eyelids! Bring on the Dinosaur models!
  3. Thanks all! @HWR MKII It would be great if you could take some photos of Sue! From the side perhaps, and the tail! Thank you!
  4. Thanks guys! I'm going to start working on the tail now!
  5. Thanks, Jason! I'm glad you like it! :) IIRC the original Tamiya kit is from the 80's, early 90's. I wonder if it's even possible to find a picture of it on the net? The resin re-cast is available from here if you're interested. http://www.homemedia4u.com/catalog/product...roducts_id=3033 Below is an unbuilt, but cleaned resin kit.
  6. Hi everyone! This resin skeleton is a re-cast of the long unavaliable Tamiya T. rex skeleton. The recast is a very roughly molded kit. I have never done so much cleaning before in my life. But, if you want to build a T. rex skeleton in 1/20 scale, this is your only option. What is left for me to do on this kit is to lengthen the tail by about 10 cm, for some reason it's 10 vertebra short. I also need to add som bones underneath the neck. These neck bones are so badly casted I have to make new ones from scratch. The same goes for the gastralia basket. My biggest modification on this kit was
  7. Darrell. That is a fantastic looking painting!

Nice job Raven! Looking forward to the next update!
  9. Thanks Gregg! I've been doing some more polishing. Actually I have done alot more polishing, but at 1280 pixels it's barely noticable. But I'm satisfied with the results. @Eric I found four pics of 39-2 when it was all black. Found it here http://www.forumgarden.com/forums/warfare-...n-fighters.html Found it here http://gripen.wz.cz/technickypopis.htm Found it here http://www.sff.n.se/jubileum/jubileum_notiser.htm Found it here http://www.avrosys.nu/aircraft/Jakt/124JAS39-2.htm A close up pic. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/comm...b_Gripen_bl.jpg At the bottom of this
  10. Thanks Eric! :) Unfortunately there are not many photos avaliable on 39-2 in its black white scheme. Perhaps this is the picture you have found? http://www.militaryaviation.eu/images/SAAB/JAS39_39-2.jpg Here's a drawing of the paint scheme. Observe that 39-2 sometimes(or perhaps most of the time) had a black radome with a much thicker and longer pitotube for a better reading during high alpha and beta flight.
  11. It's true that swedish Gripens never fly with NATO-pylons on all stations. But they are sometimes fitted on some of the stations. During Red Flag at least three stations had NATO-pylons. Here's a Gripen with Swedish pylons, except for the pylon under the right intake. And a Gripen in thai markings.
  12. Thanks guys! I'm really glad you like it! I've playing around with the canopy. Is this one any better?
  13. Hi all! This is my colour profile of the JAS 39C Gripen. I'm working on a book together with a friend of mine that will feature all of Saab's jet creations. My role is to make line drawings of these aircraft. My friend is an expert at making colour profiles. Being impressed with his work I decided to try it myself. Below is my second attempt at making a colour profile. My first colour profile was just for fun, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v486/rob...pg?t=1258891805 and is a somewhat stealth adapted Gripen. Please bear in mind this profile is not finished. The markings are not complete
