Found some brass tubing that exactly fits the number 2 engine intake on the KC-10. Saved me hours of modeling fun smoothing the intake seams.

When building my AMP/Micro-Mir KC-10, I found it useful to use sprue frames to spread the fuselage a bit so it would more easily match the lower fuselage.

I know Jennings doesn't post here anymore, but I think his assessment of the MC 707 is too harsh. Yes, I could have used the DACO 737 cockpit to improve that area, but I like the result of what I got. Ironically, I used his Braniff 1/144 707 sheet to get this 707-327C.

Incredible work. A masterclass in how to do a quality 1/48 F-111. But for me, I think I will wait for the Tamiya kit in 2037.

For my needs, the Minicraft/Academy early B-52 is just fine.
