  1. Does anyone have the instructions for the MPM 1/72 scale Spitfire PR XI they can scan and email me? I think the Special Hobby PR X kit is the same kit with different decals so that would work too. Thanks.
  2. I remember back in the early to mid 70's when Squadron still sold Squadron/Rubin figures they had a cartoon in the catalog that was two snowmen with panzerfausts. It was basically a caricature of two German figures they sold in winter gear. Anybody still have one of those catalogs they can scan and share the cartoon?
  3. That's not a loudspeaker but a radome on the bottom on the Air Force "H" models. Some "N" model Hueys had two loud speakers mounted on the nose.
  4. I don't have any pictures and am in the middle of making molds right now. I've had it for over 15 years and am just now getting around to casting it. I've checked it against the Windsock Datafile and it appears to be very accurate. FCM you have some very interesting decals there.
  5. I have a master for an Albatros CV in 1/72 scale that I am considering producing in resin on a limited basis. Just wondered if there would be any interest in it.
  6. Back when we had batteries for the guns they were located with the ammo cans, the batteries were not a good system and they changed the power supply system to the guns after I stopped flying on them.
  7. Mad Mike, I have kept to the facts and merely listed my experience with him so that others can be forewarned. That is the point of this particular forum. Was I angry about what happened? Yes, but venting my anger on here would serve no purpose.
  8. Those of us that sell on Ebay know that sellers are not permitted to leave negative feedback for a buyer, if they did you would have at least one negative rating that I know of. A 100% rating for a buyer on Ebay is meaningless.
  9. As a result of my experience, I felt compelled to warn others of the potential risk of dealing with you. Below is a scan of the Customs Declaration showing the item accepted by the post office and addressed to you at the address given with your Paypal payment. As I have not received the kit back, nor been notified by the post office that there was a problem with delivery, I am left with the clear assumption that you did, indeed, receive the kit. I have found that threatening legal action is a typical ploy by dishonest people trying to scare the other party into giving in to otherwise baseles
  10. Yep, Can't even warn other sellers. I almost stopped selling on ebay but the reality is that 99% of people out there are honest. I only sell to the US now and shipping charges include delivery confirmation. Not real happy with the morons at ebay over this one.
  11. I've had a horrible experience with Michael Enright out of Hawthorne, Australia on Ebay. There he goes by menright51 and I've seen some postings on other forums where he uses the same name. I sold him a 1/48 scale Hasegawa A-4E kit and while I was slow to get it shipped it was on its way well before the trouble started. He sent an email asking were his kit was over a holiday weekend and the next day filed a dispute with ebay. I did not have a chance to answer him over the weekend. I responded to the dispute and gave the customs form number. He responded by escalating the dispute to a cla
  12. Air Force H-53s used 3 different styles of drop tank. the original F-105 tank, a 450 gallon "crashworthy" tank that was used from the early 80's and the 650 gallon tanks used mostly on the Pave Lows. The crashworty tanks had a different shape and were made of kevlar I believe, the wrap pattern ofthe material showed on the exterior of the tank.
