  4. Very informative aircal62. Much appreciated! I will go ahead and use the Microscale sheet. Chris
  5. Thank you gentleman. I appreciate the feedback. Chris
  6. Is the Microscale 72-137 sheet correct for a Vandy 1 aircraft? Specifically is the red trim around the blue areas with the stars the correct color? Every aircraft I can find a photo of has gold trim. Is this a case of Microscale making a mistake or were there several paint jobs on this aircraft over the years? If so would someone be so kind to point one out for me. Much appreciated. Chris
  7. I am looking for a set a 1/72 F-4J Black Bunny VX-4 decals for a Phantom build I am working on. I believe Yellowhammer made a set and there were several Hasegawa boxing’s as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Chris

  9. Just getting back into the hobby after a 5 year absence and there are a few newly released kits I would like to purchase so I am getting rid of a few to make room. Everything is new in box with kit decals unless noted. I can provide photos if needed. I would prefer PayPal but other arrangements can be made. I will keep shipping to a minimum. Please contact me via e mail at gump47@shaw.ca or PM me if interested. If you see something you like and don't like the price please make me an offer. 1/72 Hasegawa F-111A K32 (cockpit tub glued to front landing gear bay as per instructions) $23US Has
  10. Just getting back into modeling after the summer and I have started the 1/72 Anigrand C-141B Starlifter. It will be finished in the Lizard paint scheme but I have a few questions regarding this scheme. Did this scheme have the wing walk stripes and if so were they black or grey? Does anybody have any photos of the wing walks? Thanks in advance, Chris
  11. Thanks Tom, I totaly missed that one. I didn't realize that there was a dedicated set for the esci/italeri kits as well as the airfix. Thanks for the heads up. Chris
  12. Hi Andre I believe the Pavla intakes are designed for the new Airfix kit. I have the ESCI Sea Harrier and AV-8A Matador (I think Italeri now reissues these molds under their name) and I'm am going to take a stab at scabbing on set of the Pavla intakes. Making a quick inquiry to see if anyone has tried it and/or has any advice. Chris
  13. Has anyone tried to fit the 1/72 Pavla Harrier air intakes and exhaust resin bits to any of the ESCI Harrier kits? Chris
  14. I don’t think there are any aftermarket sets available for the C-141. I was hoping Draw Decals would do something like they did for the C-17 but I haven’t seen anything as of yet. I was thinking of using the kit markings as well as piecing together a few from other sheets. The Euro I scheme looks pretty devoid of markings so I figure I won’t need that many. I am also planning to mask the walkways for the wings. I am sure that will require more patience that I can muster. Chris
  15. Hi Andre Sorry about that, I meant to say 141 not 131. I have edited the post to read the proper 141. Thank you for the USAF Tech order. I have not been to this site but it looks like it has got some great information that will be helpful in many projects. Many thanks! Chris
  16. I am currently building the 1/72 Anigrand C-131B and would like to finish it in the “lizard†paint scheme. Is there anyone that has a copy of a paint diagram for this scheme? I believe that DML/Dragon produced a 1/200 kit several years ago and if I could possibly get a scan of the paint instructions it would be much appreciated? Thanks, Chris
  17. I am looking to buy or trade for the 1/72 Hasegawa F-20 “Demonstratorâ€. (red white and blue) Kit Number DT113. If someone has built this kit in a different paint scheme and still has the decals sitting around I would also be interested in those as a substitute. If any one can help out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Chris
  18. Thank you for the tips guys. Marcel I will have the albatros sheet blown up to 1/72. Martin that is a great site. It confirms what colors I will be using and lots of photos. Thanks again guys! Chris
  19. I am just finishing construction on a 1/72 Mirage F.1 and would like to finish it as a South African Mirage F.1 CZ. I think I have figured out the proper colors for the older green on tan scheme but now I need a camouflage pattern I can follow. I could follow the Albatross sheet but, I understand that the AZ and the CZ have different camo pattern. The sheet only has the AZ scheme. Anyone know if there are any internet sources of such a pattern? Thanks, Chris The Mirage F.1CZ is the seventh image from the top. http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/2006..._photo_saaf.htm
  20. Benner Great Mirage! I am building the same ship in 1/72 but I am a little confused on the colors. What colors did you use or did you mix something from scratch? Once again top notch builds! Chris
  21. A big thank you goes out to Ray for helping me out with a set of P-3 decals. Not only did he not ask anything for them, he mailed them from halfway around the world. Thanks Ray, I owe you one! Chris
  22. I would like to purchase or trade for a set of VP-40 Fighting Marlins decals from the Hasegawa P-3C kit. Not the new Hasegawa low viz release. I believe the kit number is #4015 I have an older kit but the decals have been long since lost. So if anyone has used aftermarket decals I would be interested in the kit decals. Also I could use Scalemaster SM027 but I haven’t seen this set around for quite a while. Thank you, Chris
