So, to get me back in the groove, a McLaren MP4/4 originally to be built as Senna's car, but I was always a big fan of Alain Prost, so here goes. It's the DeAgostini Kyosho 1/8 model. Been of Japanese origin there is a ban in including tobacco lettering, I'll be using MSM creation full sponsor (i.e. Marlboro) decals and Autograph sets for the monocoque, nosecone, wings and tire scripting. there is so much room for hyper-detailing but I'll take it easy. Need a warm-up. I'll build it as the version used in the 1988 Mexican Grand Prix, won by Prost, my favorite driver of a

Looking forward on these! JASDF helicopters have the most striking schemes, if you include the CH-47J I could buy the entire production run hehehe! And I concur with rustywelder's comment on doing a 1/72 series, there are too many kits to play with, not only JASDF but also JMSDF and a bunch of Tokyo police machines.

Hello there: I was surfing mexican newspaper websites today and found a photo a helicopter I was unaware of, I'm certain it's a Mil-17 machine but instead of the glass/rounded/flat nose it has wire cutters and a radome almost identical as that of the Bell 412 family, on top of that it has a FLIR pod and a very nice paint scheme. Chopper belongs to MINFRA (Infrastructure Ministry in Venezuela) and the Venezuelan army has its own version: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1165784/L/ I guess that during today you can still see the pic here: http://www.eluniversal.com.mx/noticias.html I have

Hi there: I scored big last week getting an old Revell F-15A in 1/32 for peanuts, problem is it has no instructions, by looking at the sprues it looks like an overblown 1/48 Monogram Eagle, but there are many other places where I'm at a loss, anybody around has the instruction book to sell or scan? I'm willing to discuss if a price is in the middle. Thanks

ok this hurts....

Hi all from Mexico: Here's a joint project (along with my friend and major Mazinger fan Ulises) for the Bandai Jet Pilder of Mazinger Z fame, it's a rather complex kit since in order to make it close to the actual craft, major surgery is needed. 1.- the first pic shows the cut in the underpan where according to instructions you add wheels (!)... we're putting a fan instead. 2.- the second pic show the work needed for the intake above the cockpit, it's simply too thick 3.- We will use a fan taken from a ATI PC videocard, it took almost a year to find the proper fan, not just diameter

finally somebody hear me.. in CAP refueling is key regardless of fighter range. any way, about those color schemes, they're great... for Mexican Air Force, but if the navy is the one who gets them, I'm sure they will use the two tone grey scheme from current Hips, the really fantastic scolor scheme would be the dark blue-light blue scheme from JASF trainers... that will be the coolest color scheme of any flanker anywhere in the world... I'm building one!

ok so maybe I was mad at confusing the Midas and the Manstay, but I hope you see the point, How would the mexican navy will keep aloft those fighters in the middle of the gulf of mexico for extended periods of time? I dunno, I still don't like the whole idea...

I got a question... are these girls based on Alaska (based on the tailcode)?????? how weird is that? no male wanted to be in the freezing sorroundings of Denali park? as mexicans say... was that a twisted-deviated plan?

Hi all: I have a question, I just got the Super Scale Decal sheet 48-1095 to build an USAF F-15 Agressor, I have a few pics but nowhere, neither the decal instructios, indicates what is the color of the stencils used on those fighters: black (hi-viz) or grey (lo-viz)??? The rudder lettering is black but what about the tail-plane "Walkway" stencils, wing "No Step" markings and USAF insignia...? Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!

Hi there, I'm working on the engines of an F-15, question is: Will ambroid damage the bare metal foil applied to the engine area in order to repaint the area where the engine and the fuselage meet? I think that if i use any other masking method i will peel the foil as well... And yes now I screwed up in putting the foil first... thanks all!

I'm mexican and I fell kinda proud we can have those babies here but I can't believe Mexico is getting those planes... it doesn't make any sense. Remember our armed forces are deployed as internal security/natural disaster support/narcotic fighting not even national defense, I mean who do we expect to invade us... Guatemala, Belice, Arizona? Currently the top fighter in Mexico is F-5E/F ad I'm told they barely use them because high (??!?!?!?!) fuel consumption, imagine what a gas guzzler the Flanker will be. Also, you have to realize that Mexico doesn't need a carrier since many fighters ca

Hi there once again bothering people with questions Does anybody know what is Future made of? I can't find that brand here in Mexico, I'm sure there are similar products but every time i go out shopping nobody can tell me if of an equivalent, in the local Home Depot they have a bunch of Mr Orange products but none is actual wax and in Walmart and other supermarkets they have acrylic polisher but as spray not liquid... I finally gave up and started to look at the ingredientes instead of brands... any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
