  1. Sorry for the shameless publicity. http://cgi.benl.ebay.be/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=331038729830 http://cgi.benl.ebay.be/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=331038730771 Thanks for watching, Rob

Cheers R
  3. Very well printed, very thin (even so thin they caught me unawares and I broke one), good saturation and register, and most of all: original and colorful. :-) (1/72 in pictures below.)
  4. Small update. 24 fuselage halves are done, but I even though I knew, I forgot about the "fit issue" in the ICM kit where they modified the inside of the carburettor intake. I will also need to remedy the see through effect through the wheel wells, it seems. Cheers R
  5. Hey Curt, first and for all: happy 2013. May it be full of plastic, glue and paint ! :-) I used 5 Tamiya kits and 7 ICM kits. The ICM has a fuselage which is closer in length than the original. Apart from that, it is a direct copy of the Tamiya kit, but with somewhat softer detail and a slightly re-engineered cockpit. The cockpits you see are the kit parts enhanced with Eduard PE sets. Meanwhile I have discovered that these 12 won't suffice to build all the Emils I would want to build, but this already puts my sanity to the test. ;-) Cheers Rob
  6. To build one Emil for each nation that used one, including captured specimen. (I hope to do the same for the Gustav and the Fw190 one day...) :-) Cheers R
  7. Hey Curt, Indeed, a Christmas line-up of Emils. Someone once told me about "economies of scale". ;-) Cheers R
  8. Well, I also took out my DML Ta152 and compared it with the Art Model kit, and I beg to differ: it is the same kit, with some simplifications, like the integrally molded engine section. If you look at all the surface details, and especiallly the wing spar it becomes obvious. Of course Art Model left out a lot of detail, and the fuseelage goes together better, but it inherited the problem of the wing thickness of the lower wrt upper wing. HTH Rob
  9. Perhaps a late reply, but I just started building the Art Model Ta152H kit, and when I dry fitted both wing halves I noted that the lower wing is a bit too thick to fit the upper wing recess. It only took me five seconds to realize I had built a kit with the very same problem some 15-20 years ago. Incidentally it was also a Ta152H. This clearly rung my bell and I took out a Dragon Ta152H from my stash and lo and behold: It is the same kit, but simplified. (No engine, engine section integarlly molded with rest of fuselage, etc.), but it's unmistably the same kit. The wing spar is a clear sign o
  10. So, that's confirmed then: they have an excellent customer service ! :-)
  11. Will do. I hope they have a good customer service. Cheers R
  12. Thanks David, I did, but sadly it doesn't. I am at a loss how to use the different prop blades and how to apply the markings/ :-( But thanks for the suggestion. Rob
  13. I am the proud owner of a CMR Seafire F.45 1/72 Kit 122. Either I lost the instructions, or they were already missing when I bought it. At any rate, I don't have them (anymore). Can anyone who has this kit please send me a scan of the instructions ? Many thanks in advance. Rob
  14. Dubble purchase. Selling at 3EUR + p&p. (Sorry for double post.) Cheers, Rob
  15. For a 1/72 "what-if" project I am looking for "Royal Navy" markings in white. Max height 2 mm. Thanks in advance, Rob
  16. For sale Panzer Tracts 14 – Gepanzerte Pionier Fahrzeuge Condition: new (bought twice) Price: 15EUR. Location: Belgium Cheers Rob
  17. Thanks Matt, the absence of numbers makes it even easir for me to model the aircraft :-) Is it my impression or do these underwing guns look more like 20mm ShVAKs ? Cheers Rob
  18. Sorry about that, Graham. For one reason my neurons thought that Graham was only your second name and that the a in agboak, was for... well, never mind. The book might be wrong about the PVO, I guess, but it seems some IID's flew under the Russian star after all, albeit only for evaluation. Sadly a picture of them has still to surface. Some drawings have them in DE/MS (which would make sense if they were transferred from the Middle East), others in OG/DG. Thanks again, Rob
  19. Thanks Alexander. Meanwhile I've been directed towards the Ajaks book "Hurricane in Foreign Service", and if I can believe the author 46 were delivered and used by 441IAP (106 IAD PVO) and 246 IAP (215 IAD). I think this assures me enough to start building one. Cheers Rob
  20. Guys, today I stumbled upon a drawing of a Soviet Hurricane MkIID tankbuster in the Planes and Pilots devoted to the Hurricane. I've seen a number of photos of Soviet Hurricanes, but no IIDs. Does anyone have more info ? Thanks in advance Rob
  21. Thanks guys, though it is sad to see how badly interesting subjects covered by fine kits are treated in this scale. :D
  22. Gentlemen, I hardly ever venture into the field of jet modeling, but the attraction of adversary aircraft is just too strong. I have the two old sheets from Superscale that covered A-4s and F-5s (and the decals in the Fujimi kits), but it seems the Sperscale decals are out of print, and no other sheet seems to be currently available. Can anyone recommend me a sheet ? (I would in particular love a three-tone blue-gray scheme from NFWS Top Gun, which is missing from my Superscale sheets.) Any help greatly appreciated ! Rob
