  1. Thanks very much for the link, Andre. Much appreciated. Cheers, Andrew.
  2. Fabien, Hear, Hear! Your CF-104 is gorgeous and I'm looking forward to more progress on your RF-104G. Will you use the Daco/Astra markings? Thanks also for the explanation about the J-79 upgrade for German F-104s. I had heard about this in the past, but it remained completely forgotten until I read your thread. Is there any chance you could illustrate the difference between early and upgraded engines? Please keep us updated with your build(s). Cheers, Andrew.
  3. Hello all, Here's a link to the review of a new sheet in 72nd for Singaporean Skyhawks (only). I've purchased a set recently directly from the creator of the sheet and am thrilled to finally have good decals for the T/A-4SU. Sorry to move away from the original poster's emphasis on Indonesian Scooters; I couldn't agree more on the need for decals for the TNI-AU A-4s..... Cheers, Andrew.
  4. Great job, Paolo. Very nice result and an impressive finish. Looks as though the Maestro Decals (and that lurid scheme) are well worth trying; just as well I have a set. Cheers, Andrew.
  5. Wonderful result, Hernan. It's great to read of your input to the Pantera kit and to see the way your two-seater turned out. Thanks for the pics. cheers, Andrew.
  6. Great idea! Let's not forget the British, French and other European reconnaissance and ECM pods either. Another set with all these would be very welcome. Andrew.
  7. Great news Raymond, especially with the inclusion of GBU-39 and the Sniper pod. Thanks very much for the update. Cheers, Andrew.
  8. Excellent work, Goku. The extra detail you've added, especially in the cockpit, is very impressive. Thanks for the progress pics and hope to see more of your efforts soon. Cheers, Andrew.
  9. Good start on your Scooter, Brendon. It's good to see this unit being represented in scale form and kudos to you for tying it in with this GB. I hope the rest of your progress is as smooth and I look forward to more pics. Clement, Thanks for linking to your build; it's very nice indeed and ditto my comment about how seldom VC-724 is modelled. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Andrew.
  10. Very nice result, Ivan. Thanks for posting the pics and reminding me that I really need to get cracking on my Mirage collection. I'd love to think mine might turn out half as well as yours. cheers, Andrew.
  11. G'day Mark, While not strictly what the original poster was after, but hoping that you'll do it anyway, I'd like markings for the New Mexico Block 30s (big mouth) which feature the bird (roadrunner) in grey (as applied to jets in the period after the block 40s of sheet 72-028). To the best of my knowledge they've only been depicted once in 72nd on a Superscale sheet - 72-866 - but that aircraft's bird is in colour and my preference would be for the grey marking. It would be even better if you could include the red '332 EFS' tag as carried by this and other units during OIF. Of course, the sch
  12. Here's my Tamiya 1/72 Razorback kit, finished with enamels and Gunze lacquers and using kit decals (stand fast national insignia, which were slightly out of register; Aeromaster provided these). A very enjoyable build and I'd happily build another Tamiya razorback. Please ignore the faux pas I made of incorrectly attaching the inner gear door retraction jack - haste is no excuse, especially when the instructions address the particular issue. Thanks for looking, Andrew.
  13. An update for those fascinated by inactivity........ I finished the razorback a few weeks ago but have been lazy in photographing it for the forum. I've decided to make amends; please find below a shot of the hastily finished article (I wanted to wrap up something, anything, before my local club meet and made it by a day!): More photos in the finished gallery. Cheers, Andrew.
  14. Great progress. The masking of the cowls is lovely and your Mexican bubbletop is shaping up beautifully. Thanks for the update. Cheers, Andrew.
  15. I applaud you for sticking with this after the earlier setbacks; keep going and here's hoping that everything goes smoothly from here. It certainly seems as though you need to apply a new and different kind of primer, or perhaps even no primer at all - perhaps instead just give the kit an overall very light sand with the smoothest sandpaper you have and then apply an undercoat of the white of the final scheme overall, followed by the Light Gull Grey? I'd think though that the automotive primer should work very well. I look forward to your next update, which will hopefully have tales of great
  16. Looks lovely, Honza. Well done. Andrew.
  17. Lovely Jayhawk, Nick. It's great to see that kit being built and so quickly! As Neo said, excellent paintwork as well. Mine is still awaiting my attention, despite much fondling and the occasional smattering of trial fit/minor work. Cheers, Andrew.
  18. Another great-looking Jug, Ham. Well done and thanks for choosing an interesting scheme; it helps me to learn more about these aircraft. Cheers, Andrew.
  19. Very nice result, Rick. Very shiny back end and gorgeous decals/decalling. Well done. Andrew.
  20. Dave, Thanks very much for the latest batches; as ever I really appreciate the extra details you provide with your excellent images. Cheers, Andrew.
  21. Lovely build, Honza. Do you have weapons planned for the MERs under the wings, or is it just for visual interest? Great result anyway. cheers, Andrew.
  22. Excellent result, Ham. Congratulations on producing such a fine kit - your Razorback looks just right. Andrew.
  23. Very nice progress, Pete. Thanks for the pics and update and looking forward to more of your work. I'm sorry, but I don't know how much Future to use, but I'd imagine that as long as there is a consistent sheen and minimal 'pebbleness', then you should be good to decal. Cheers, Andrew.
  24. Looks great Honza. The decals seem to have worked very well and have given 'life' to your kit. I'm sure the rest of your build will continue to develop this appeal. Looking forward to more. Andrew.
  25. Thanks for the extra pics, Don. The pair look excellent; it's great to see them together and what a fine pair they are. Very well done on both counts and congratulations again on completing two kits in this Group build. Andrew.
