  2. Thanks Guys for the comments....I have the Trumpy "A" version in the storage unit with the CAM Decals VF-41 that will have both dual winder rails and 4 sparrows in the tunnel, but I need to finish my ATARS bird. Both birds will be at the NOVA show tomorrow if any of you guys live in the Washington DC area. Thanks Stanton
  3. I know one thing at my Hobbytown is that they usually get most of the good kits like all the Tamiya 48th Falcons, and heck of Hasegawa selection, but now it is mostly Revell Junk. Stanton
  4. Yes it great too see them do it in 5 games I am waiting to see who we are going to play next so that I can start looking for tickets too go cause I do believe the first two games are at the Verzion Center. Stanton
  5. I live in Manassas Virginia and I was at the Hobbytown USA, looking at some of their armor and to so see if they had any good US Navy kits but the walls where also soo thin in kits. I asked the kid behind the counter and he stated that the owner had no desired to restock the models since that is not his main stream. But I did notice that they are not carrying anymore magazines for RC or models. So I'm wondering if they are slowly going to pulling out. I hope not cause the other hobby shop is just too far of drive and he charges WAY TOO MUCH for anything. Who knows. Stanton

Debating on whether to you use the Blk Box seats or Wolfpack seats for some reason I've been looking at them and looking at the real one in photos for some reason the Wolfpack seats just dont do it for me in the Hornet office. But for some reason I want to start working on my Trumpeter Skyhawk as the "The Mig" so I think I will work on them both. Stanton

  13. Hey guys I am starting to plan my Trumpeter Skyhawk build. I am thinking about doing "The Mig" from Naval Strike Air Warfare Center in the early "90's" so what I am looking for is a "Bent" Inflight Refueling Probe, and the sidewinder adapter that mounts too the center pylon and the sidewinder rail. I have the sidewinder rail in the kit already. I have no problem dropping someone some cash or maybe a trade for some decals or AM parts. Thanks Stanton
  14. I believe, Floyd Werner has his turned exhaust for sale for the "Whiskey" on his website. Excellent build Shawn I will watch this one since I have one in stash that I want to build with Werner's turned exhaust is on the market. Stanton
  15. Well guys here is some photos of the painting I have done for her. I preshaded her with Grimmy Black in all the panel lines and wheel wells. Also I masked the wells and of the gears and the inflight refueling bay. I went ahead an dry fitted the exhaust in the rear of the bird. Also I painted the white areas on the 4 and 6 check stations of the hornet. Well I am off to work on some painting in the paint barn. Time to paint the legs, clear coat it and let them dry for the stencils in the morning. Thanks Stanton

  17. Hey Guys, here is some update on the ATARS bird I am working on, I started to add some of the Eduard to the wheel wells, just add little more detail to the wells. Main Gear Wells Nose Gear Well Also you can see on the pictures of the I have installed the Dual C/F buckets they could be little more contour to the shape of the intake trunks, but what can you say for Wolfpack. Next I started to work on the Aires Exhaust tubes, burners, and compressor. I sprayed the insides with Burnt Umber and Raw Umber on the compressor(just a hint on the compressor). But for some reason I sprayed t

  19. Thanks Guys for all the comments... I have pics of the aftermath of the nose attached too the Hasegawa airframe. Production is going to stop for a few days since tomorrow is the firehouse and thursday I am going to celebrate my Irish heritage, friday I will be at her since I know I will not be hungover from the Irish Festivies.. :D The fix isnt that bad I think in my mind but for some people it maybe the end of the world...(plz dont take the wrong if I affend anyone). If just took some careful sanding with different grits of sandpaper to get the same contour of the jet. Grant it y

  21. Well guys here is some pics of the rear IP glued in but the front IP is just sitting in there with the bottom half of the fuselage just popped in there to see how it looked. Also I dry fitted the nose section on the model, and I was hoping all the rumors of the Wolfpack stuff strinking..... I mean it isnt that bad but when you look down the nose of the model you can see almost the whole width of the side walls of the lower fuselage. But I was able to do some fairing the ends to where it looks smooth but I've seemed to lost some of the detail on the sides. Sorry I didnt get a picture it w
