  7. When the first 747-8 passenger version rolls out in 2010, the VC-25s would have been 20 years old. Boeing's line will switch to the dash 8 version sometime in 2008. Its a matter of time the Air Force One switch to the dash 8. Unless the USAF decides to go European like the Marine One.

The Bears had been participating in an annual Russian air force exercise near the coast of Alaska and Canada. Two F-15s intercepted the planes by making visual contact and verifying their identity. The CF-18s did not intercept the Russian bombers.

  21. We were at the O club and some CDR overheard us talking about the flypast and he said 'the admiral wanted a simple flypast'
  22. unfortunately I'm suffering from jetlag after travelling 28 hours to get here. One big surprise, 102 taxied to the runway but it was 107 that took off and departed. Hope I can upload something in 2 hours time.
