Just wanted to take a moment and thank all who took the time to write a brief message on my wife's passing thread. I appreciate them all. Today will be difficult as it is the day of her calling hours. And tomorrow will be even worse as we will be burying her. She is now in Heaven with our beloved son. Thanks again to all for your kindness...

This is probably the saddest message I will ever write here. Yesterday in the late afternoon, I lost my beautiful wife and soulmate Carolyn of the past 38 years. She passed away in her sleep unexpectedly at home. She had been ill for the past 26 years, having spent 1,836 days in 8 separate hospitals due to her Crohn's Disease, Breast Cancer and a host of other medical problems. I have been her 24/7 caregiver for two decades now and I am totally lost without her. Today the 14th Annual 24 Hour Build has reached a new plateau. 100 confirmed entries!!! And we still have 11 more days to go for more modelers to join in!

I saw that... thank you. It's a lot of fun and really tests your skills! The originator of the event, Gary Kulchok, always has a group of 5 or 6 guys at his house and they have lots of food and brew and they go all night long. I can't quite make all night long anymore at nearly 68 but I have fun with it anyways.

The 14th Annual 24 Hour Build is less than 3 weeks away. It runs from noon on January 25th to noon on the 26th of January. It always coincides with the 24 Hours of Daytona race. This is where you pick a model and build non-stop for 24 hours either by yourself or with a friend or two.... or more. Make it a party. Have food and drink and just have fun. Most participants build cars but you can build any model you wish. Try it... it will really test your skills! If you see junk like that....report it! I've deleted a lot of that stuff already but I don't have the time to go back through the first couple of hundred pages to ferret out that stuff. I only started following this thread back at around page185 or so when some things did get reported.

No. Like I said, any discussion that devolves into company bashing of ANY company by anyone, will not be tolerated. This thread is supposed to be about the KIT, not the company AMK or Kinetic or Tamiya or Joe The Rag Man's Plastic Junk! Modeling discussion = Good. Company bashing = Not Good

This thread is to talk about the KIT....not to argue about one manufacturer against another. Any such postings will be removed immediately.

You guys who had the moderator powers can you check and see if you still have them? Steve and I talked and he made some kind of mistake setting up a group build. But he says he fixed it now...

I've done all I can... I've sent an email to Steve and posted this problem on the Moderators sub-forum. But Steve is working a lot and may not see my messages right away. I don't have access to forum tools even as a Super Mod.
