Hi, I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard that light spray of regular gloss coat would do the trick.

Hi Starfighter, I had bad silvering with Academy decals on my F 86. I used Humbrol gloss clear coat and Testors dullcote. I’ve sliced decals and applied setting solution repeatedly but it didn’t help. Finally I applied Testors liquid cement with a tiny brush and it worked like charm! Tosa
