  1. I once asked Master about M60 barrels in multiple scales and offered manuals and pictures. They replied they had too much going on already and weren't interested. 1/48, 1/35 and 1/32, I'd buy them all. Hope they reconsider. Rob
  2. Thanks for the replies. I have the Falcon set and CE decals as a fall back. It's not as complete or easy to work with as the CE set. I wasn't aware of the pending Brigade conversion. Other companies have listed a conversion in their to do lists but so far no follow through. Seems like it'd be a good seller. By asking for the CE set I was hoping to appeal to a fellow builder who may not be as interested in profit and willing to help a phantom phan. As I said, I'm willing to pay a reasonable mark up if someone wants to discuss it. Maybe we can both be happy. Thanks again guys, Rob
  3. I’m hoping someone will help me in my quest to complete my F-4 Phantom collection. I missed out when the 1/48 Cutting Edge F4H-1 conversion was released and have been kicking myself and searching ever since. They occasionally show up on eBay and I’ve bid on several, but ultimately, they sell for hundreds of dollars more than I can afford or justify. Hey… the kids have to eat and bills must be paid. I don’t see these conversions displayed at shows or online very often so there must some out there. Surely there must be some sitting on shelves of well-meaning builders. So, any kind souls with one in their stash and not enough time to build everything? I understand it’s “rare” and I’m willing pay a reasonable mark-up but my kids wouldn’t appreciate me closing out their college funds. If you’d prefer a trade or combination of both we can discuss that too. Thanks, Rob f4phan(at)msn(dot)com
  4. Any updates on a printing schedule for the SLUF guide? Rob
  5. I don't know about DB and Flightpath but if you can find one Heritage Aviation Models Ltd had a 1/48 XT597 Nose Conversion. Rob
  6. How about an A-37A of the 604th Air Commando Squadron, 3 TFW, Bien Hoa, Vietnam 1967-68. That blue grey camo scheme is different. Rob
  7. I would support a 1/144 set with a Dragon kit in the stash. Rob
  8. I'm looking for a set of Dragon/DML 1/35 UH-1D decals for "The Good Widow Mrs Jones" assigned to "Soc Trang Tigers" 121st AHC. I believe they were also found in the 1993 Revell release. Thanks, Rob

  10. I would second the request for 1/72 even if it was on a combined 1/72-1/48 sheet. I have the Dragon and Testors kits, both screaming for quality decals. Thanks, Rob
  11. I'm looking for a 1/35 soviet type helicopter. I would prefer a Mi-4 Hound. It'll be used as part of a diorama and will be done as a wrecked discarded skeleton , so If you a unfinished kit or something collecting dust with no room to display that would be acceptable, even preferred. I don’t even need the weapons. Please let me know what you have and we can discuss further. Thanks, Rob
  12. I need one 1/32 Soviet aircraft rocket pod for a project. Looking for a B-8M style but a UB32 type would work too. Thanks, Rob

  14. I'm looking for the 1/72 Cutting Edge decals, 72214, for the SR-71. I would prefer a complete set but will consider partials. Thanks, Rob
  15. Nice! I'm in for a set. Now if you had an Irish Air Corp one on there it would be heaven. Rob
  16. How about one painted like a Marine Corsair? This has me rethinking my original plans. http://www.navair.navy.mil/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.PrintNewsStory&id=4614
  17. I have the decals if you're talking about the VMCJ-3 film markings. I traded the kit away years ago but kept the decals. I don't need them now so you can have them in case you find a diffferent boxing of the kit. Rob
  18. Hello, I'm looking for a 1/72 set of Superscale decals #72-611 for the FB-111 or at least the portion for "Lucky Strike" of the 380th BW. Thanks Rob
  19. I was wondering if the small scale Monogram B-58, kit #6821, released in 1958/1967 has an actual scale or is it "box" scale. I picked up three of them in bags, no box, instructions or decals. I've placed it against various drawings and it matches in some areas but not others. it seems closest to 1/100 in all but length. Planning to do a YB-58 "Snoopy", TB-58 and a Project Bullseye, SEA Camo. Thanks, Rob

    B-58

Check out the November 2010 (Vol 32 Issue 9) Scale Aircraft Modelling. It has a 20 page article on the B-58. Includes a build of the Monogram kit, walk around photos, history, color profiles and fold-out drawings in 1/100th scale. Includes nose profile of "Snoopy" and a color profile of markings. Overall a nice article. Picked mine up recently at Barnes and Noble, they might still have it. Rob
  21. Erik, It's a very basic sheet so you can have it. Send me your address. Should be able to get it in the mail on Monday. Rob
  22. I’m looking for the Cutting Edge F4H-1 Conversion, CEC48494. These don’t show up for sale or at shows very often so there must be some of them out there. If you’ve got one collecting dust in the stash, I’m interested. I can purchase it for a fair price or work a trade. I have many kits with all the aftermarket bells and whistles that would equate to the collector value of the conversion. I could also use the unused portion of the decal sheet for use with a Falcon Conversion. Thanks, Rob
  23. I’m looking for the following decal sheet or the partial parts listed. SuperScale: 48-1201 A-10A Thunderbolts(184 FS/188 FW Arkansas ANG) Will purchase or possibly trade if I have something you need. Thanks, Rob
  24. I haven't seen or heard of anyone making the 2010 scheme yet, but Bilek made the 2009 in 48 and 72 scales. Hopefully they do the 2010 scheme. Rob
  25. I'm searching for pictures of AD-5's (A-1E) Skyraiders assigned to VA-811 or VA-813 while at the Minneapolis, MN Navy Reserve Center. So far no luck with Google. Thanks, Rob
