Thanks guys, Silver1...I added just a few extras in the form of seat belts, brake lines, and the little "spinners" on the bomb tips. I also added a cover plate made of very thin plastic on the belly inside the turbosupercharger exhaust fairing to eliminate the seam that would otherwise be present. The decals are from Ministry of Small Aircraft Production's P-47D sheet. Happy modeling! :o Joe

Hi all, This is my nearly done Tamiya 1/72 scale P-47D. Still have the gun sight, canopy and numerous other external items to add following the semi-flat finish I'll be spraying soon. Just some minor extras added to this kit as it's superb right out of the box! Hope you like it so far! Happy modeling all! Joe Youngerman

Fine looking SBD Salty! Weathering looks great. Joe Youngerman

Thanks Icehound...the build has gone well with any snags being mostly self induced. The horizontal stab area needed a little filler but the rest was great. Even the cockpit is nicely done, (though I added to it). Joe Youngerman

Hi all, just a couple in progress shots of my BV P-194 build in 1/72 scale. The paint scheme is my guess on how this a/c might have looked on the Eastern front in early 1946. Final decaling, wethering and assembly to go! Happy modeling all! Joe Youngerman

Love it Marcin...great work as always! Joe

Looks very nice...just did this one myself a short time ago and loved the resin parts! They were done by Steve Hustad I am told...and he is a master talent. Your weathering looks good...I agree though...a new loop antenna would be great. I replaced mine with a metal one made from scratch. Thanks for posting! Joe

Thanks BlackDog...your work is amazing!! I am taking a little break from non-fiction to build Revell's Blohm & Voss Bv P-194 attack a/c concept. It's a very nice kit of this odd bird and I'm adding some small details in the cockpit and to the landing gear. I don't generally build Luft 46' stuff but I thought this might be fun. I have it nearly ready for paint...now if I can just decide on a scheme! I am also working on Spate's bright red Me 163B for a small diorama. I have added a resin interior from CMK and will be doing a couple other small improvements as well. Lastly, I'm looking f

I love the streaking technique on the BMF...that's something I'll have to try on my upcoming P-47D build. Thanks for passing those along Marcin. Joe

Hi all, Thought I'd toss on a few shots of a Tamiya 1/72 scale Fw 190D-9 I just finished. I used the extra clear parts included to do an early 190D-9 with the flat topped canopy and the antenna cable tensioner pully. The decals are from EagleCal. The kit was built to out-of-box standards with only the gun barrels and exhausts being drilled out. The seat belts are from tape. Hope you like it! ;) Happy modeling all! Joe Youngerman
