  1. Gene We have a yahoo group which is by invitation to join. Send me an e-mail and I will give you all the details on joining etcd. We're only a small group at the moment, with plans on attending various modelshows in the UK, especially the SMW at Telford. Ted
  2. I have a fairly good amount of reference material for the F-4, as I am the special interest group leader for the F-4 Phantom with IPMS(UK). If anybody needs any specific info, please e-mail me at ebayliss@omantel.net.om and I will get back ASAP. Due to excess Spam, please put F-4 in the title, otherwise it will probably be binned. I am currently working on 70+ 1/72nd scale F-4's, with loads more to follow. If anyone wants a list, just ask. Ted Bayliss
  3. You could try the Modeldecal range of decal sheets if they are still available. Available from Hannants. They have a large 1/72nd collection of UK aircraft. Unfortunately, they are no longer in production, but are more varied than the Airdoc decals, which deal only with F-4's that were based in Germany.
  4. The definitive answer on the ECM boxes on the FG.1 and FGR.2 is that they are a post production mod, so the F-4K and F-4M and FG.1 and FGR.2 are merely US and UK designations respectively. Also, the box is actually a Marconi ARI 18228 RWR system. Associated with this mod was an ILS aerial underneath this but this applies only to RAF FG.1's and all FGR.2's. The Royal Navy FG.1's never had the ILS aerials fitted. I know, as I did a goof and had to fix it later after painting and decalling. Hope this helps
