  1. These fellas just require a matte coating, to ensure they have the looks to sit in the pit:
  2. Nose gear lights on: I know they’re tricky small things, so I glued them with fast drying glue
  3. Working on last details: - test fitting the canopy: it fits 😃 - Genie missiles with some colour and light wash afterwards
  4. Glueing the first of the stabilisators in place. Put them into position and let them dry to the right angle with masking tape, for not bending downwards.
  5. Did some work on the wash on the upper side, front an tail. Came out nice, not too black, just giving accent to the panel lines.
  6. A hell of a job to get these support struts in place when main gear is already installed 😅 But they’re in and they make the gear stronger, just need to finish them in the right colours.
  7. First time to stand on her feet! Although this main landing gear is soooo brittle, can’t imagine why Monogram decided to do this. someone else made the same comments: “Main landing gear attachment is VERY weak – it’s simply a butt joint against the top of the wing with retraction linkages providing only minimal support. I wish Monogram would have sacrificed some accuracy for a pin-and-groove attachment instead. As it is, you end up with a very heavy model that absolutely cannot tolerate any side-to-side movement. ” https://modelingmadness.com/review/korean/us/levin101b.htm
