  1. Very nice results! What kit did you use??
  2. Holy cow that finish is perfect!!!! GREAT JOB!!!
  3. SUPER!!! I moved from 1:72 to 1:32 a few years back....and now all these cool kits are coming out in 72nd!
  4. Mach 2.....nothing to see here....move along....
  5. Yup.....Hopefully this was just a quickly done drawing.
  6. Man, I hope so! I saw the one they had flying around the UK years ago before it crashed. It'd be nice to have the opportunity to get some good digital images.
  7. Absolutely SUPERB! I remember seeing these close up and thinking to myself, "I'll never try that on a model..." Congratulations on a job well done!
  8. There's a kit I want! I've been wanting a Canadian CT-155 ever since Revell came out with their Hawk kit. Figured Leading edge and/or Belcher Bits would make what I needed for a conversion, but now I suppose I won't have to fiddle with all that. I think a set of quality aftermarket decals might be in order, however. Now, about that dark blue paint......
  9. Been wanting a CT-155 in 1:32 scale...... I love it!
  10. I'm currently building the PCM kit and I agree with the review and comments posted above. One other comment that I'll add is if you choose to build it with the canopy closed, the windscreen actually stands higher than the sliding canopy part, and will need to be shortened a millimeter or two. If you don't want to mess with the PCM kit, the older Revell Mk.I buils up into a nice model too. I have found the Revell kits fairly inexpensive on ebay.
  11. Well done Chief! I was Air Force, but I was around the Navy enough to learn it's the Chiefs who make the Navy GO! Congrats on your promotion.
  12. One of my favorites too. I met the chief designer on the MiG-19 project when I visited the Mikoyan OKB back in 1991. Too bad there's no airworthy (as far as I know) examples flying around somewhere.
  13. HOLMES asked me to post this link. The one he provided was for the older Spirit and Opportunity missions of a few years ago. This one is for the Curiosity rover that landed on Mars a couple weeks ago: Also, here's a still from the NASA site I thought was cool: http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/imagegallery/image_feature_2351.html HOLMES thought you guys would enjoy..... - Patrick
  14. GREAT RESULTS! One of my favorite airplanes.
  15. Concur 110%. People need to learn to do a little detective work in this internet age. I apologise in advance, but if you tell me something, I reserve the right to confirm it elsewhere....maybe even three other elsewheres. Partly the reason I rarely participate in internet discussion forums anymore.....
  16. Here's my take on international shipping: I sell a bit on ebay. I have stopped shipping kits overseas. The reason is tracking. I've lost money when an overseas buyer claims non-receipt. Here in the U.S. I cannot insure an international parcel unless it's shipped at the upper service levels, which means a huge shipping bill. I don't think anyone wants to pay $40+ shipping on a $20 kit. I still ship decals overseas.
  17. Devilleader - those big button appliances look usable. We already got him a "Jitterbug" phone with the big buttons.
  18. Is anyone aware of an MP3 player that would be easier to use for someone with motor function problems? My brother-in-law has a rare progressive nuerological disorder that leaves him unable to operate things with small buttons. He has an IPod Nano, but it's become useless to him. He gets really frustrated trying to use it. I tried googling to no avail... Thanks.... - Patrick
