  1. Heater

    HAF A-7E

The 2050 set gives the old escapac ejection seat which is suitable only for the HAF -H model. For the -E model Tiger scheme you need the 2054 set with the SJU ejection seat

  4. This is going to be an interesting subject. Have you checked if the kit provides both types of intakes? The greek -52 D's have the PW engine and thus the small intake (while the blk-50 - like the kit- has the MCID one).
  5. They have the capability to carry everything that you said. The JDAM part depends on the algorithms provided by LM. There was a discussion about a possible order of JDAMS but no news have been released yet. The safest option is to go for normal loads i.e IRIS-T, AIM-120, GBU's Mavericks, and ofcource the 600 gallon tanks (i think i've seen a pic somewhere with these monsters loaded on a plane). HTH
  6. They use specific operational modes of the HARM to lock on to a target and fire (i.e predetermined co-ordinates of the target). HAF never acquired the HTS pod for the F-16`s.
  7. Got their 1/48 A-10 and F-18D. Havent started them yet but from what i saw are on par with Hasegawa kits regarding the detail. Also saw the 1/72 TA-7C and it looks suspicioucly similar to the Hasegawa 1/48 corsair (open electronic bays etc). Nice cockpit detail too.The panel lines might look a bit too wide and too engraved but this is easily fixed if you spray the model with putty. Highly recomended and at half the price of the Hasegawa kits.
  8. Mark, Hobbyboss announced the Greek A-7E Tiger in 1/72, with decals. Actually, from what i've heard the hobby shops here in Greece are expecting it sometime soon!!!
  9. If this is the bird you're talking about Icarus Decals makes a sheet with the necessary decals, and a seperate sheet with white stencils. I cant recal the product code right now...but i think you can find them through Hannants.
  10. Never shoot the messenger jholt!! I just hope that they have some king of inside info, and they havent messed up their printing. If this is true......beat the drums and ring the bells....and start saving money!! :o
  11. jholt are you sure that these kits will be on 1/48?? I checked the HB / MAI catalogue/site and these product numbers are for 1/72 scale kits.
  12. Depends on what BLK you're building Andy. IIRC the Tamiya can only be build as as Greek BLK-30 or BLK-50. For sure the Icarus sheet can be used for either version. As for the Zotz....i dont have this sheet so i cant tell you for sure. HTH
  13. And to add to mmaker's pics.....here is another example of a Hill Gray II Phantom. Try to recreate that on a model!!!! credits for the pic to acig.org
  14. Some say they do spoil it some say they dont. It's all a matter of personal taste. For me....the CFT's added "muscles" to a slick airframe. personally i like them either way, with or without CFT's
  15. George comes one more time to the resque!!!
