  3. Hi, you don't need paypal to pay, you can use a credit card, after you select the decals you want, it will take you to the shopping cart (yes it will say paypal) input your zip, then click "Proceed to checkout". The next page that pops up will give you 2 options, your left hand side pay using credit card, or right hand log into paypal. Just use the left hand enter your info. submit order, done. Or send an email of what you want, we will give you a total and you can send a money order. Email: fightertowndecals@yahoo.com Hope that helps! Thanks guy's for the comments, glad you like the
  4. Hasegawa is the way to go! Academy F-14 is horrible, the Revell Tomcat has more fit problems than Hase. Plus the amount of work and money you will put into the Revell or Academy kit just to update it and bring it up to par, your better off starting with Hasegawa. There are certain things you can do when building the Hasegawa F-14 to avoid the fit problems that some people have. Take a look at this build here, it points out how to avoid some of these problems. 5. Guy's that Hornet is already done. Been done for awhile now. Just haven't posted the sheet up yet, but will soon. For sure one of the better camo schemes I have seen. Mike

  8. Darren, are you saying it comes with the ALQ-167 pod? Any pics? Thanks
  9. All of VX-9's TPS Tomcats were 3 tone TPS. If you look at the instructions you see the top is Med. Gray, which goes up under the rear of the black skunk stripe. The forward fuse. is Dark Ghost Gray, and Light Ghost Gray starts on the bottom of the Pitot Tube under the nose and extends under and the sides of the jet. Now this jet was weathered to hell and back, so you'll have a mix of colors everywhere but you still see the TPS scheme. Here is a link to some pics on our site: VX-9 Pics There are also pics here on ARC of 254 in the reference section. HTH Mike
  10. Hey, Up for sale are a few things. I accept paypal, all prices do not include shipping. Just send me your city, state, and zip for a price quote. Kit: 1/48 Hasegawa F-14A Tomcat VF-111 Sundowners boxing. The kit decals were damaged when I received it, so the kit decals are not included, but I will throw in your choice of Fightertown Decals VF-101 sheet FTD48-020 or FTD48-024. Also the fuel tanks and fuel tank pylons were removed. So you can build a complete kit minus the Fuel Tanks and kit decals. Hence the VF-101 decals. SOLD! Decals: 1/48 Fightertown Decals F-14 Tomcat Data sheet $10 +
  11. Nice job! Vandy 254 did have a PTID(square screen) installed and the Lantirn stick would go with that. HTH Mike
  12. It's not a mistake. It was like that on the real jet. One side was painted in Insignia Yellow, while the Starboard side was painted in Gloss Yellow. Hope that helps! Mike
  13. You wanna go with Aires for the SJU-17 NACES seats. They are the best and only accurate version of this seat. Nothing beats it! Great job by the way!! Looking good.
  14. Wow Darren! Excellent job!!!! That has always been one of my favorite Adversary paint schemes. It really looks sharp.

  18. If you wanna do the VF-31 102 Sunset jet, then I would recommend the Aires SJU-17 NACES seats as those are the most accurate out there. The True Details seats are not NACES, not even close, so don't waste your money on those. You don't need fuel tanks, or bomb racks, or phoenix fairings, the jet was clean, meaning it didn't carry any of that stuff. It did have a PTID screen in the RIO's office. Yes decals are sized to the Hasegawa kit, but will work fine on the Revell. Same thing for the VF-143 sheet, will fit fine on the Revell kit. Here are some links to builds of VF-143 birds all F-14B's:
