  1. Any chance we'll see a new tool 1/72 F/A-18 A or C from Revell? Great review, Moritz! Thanks, Oliver
  2. Robert, I love this paint scheme! Is this option included in the instructions? Thanks for sharing, Oliver
  3. Haven't seen any new releases at Hannants since quite a while now. Are they still around? Thanks, Oliver
  4. Mike, You might want to decant the paint. is one possible method. With an airbrush you have more control. HTH Oliver
  5. Is this sheet a brand new release? That would explain why it hasn't arrived at Hannants yet... Then I will stack up with this new kit. Oliver
  6. First, give the figure/tiny part a coat of primer. This can as well be good old enamel paint. Brush on a coat of white or gray, just what you prefer. That way the next coat will adhere much better than on the plain plastic. Second: Two days ago, I discovered an interesting article on armorama by Adam Wilder. Adam is one of the best armor modelers on this planet. In this article, he states that Tamiya paints aren't acrylics and they go on much better using lacquer thinner. He airbrushes them, but anyway, it should work when brushing them as well. May they be acrylics or not, bottom line is th
  7. Diego, what about Luftwaffe paint schemes? (maybe not this time but...) BTW, I like your policy to focus on the important markings and provide rather inexpensive sheets! Keep it up! Thanks, Oliver
  8. Spike, thanks for that pic! As for the kit, it's like Andre said; but I think they messed up the 1000lb iron bombs. The body looks exactly like the BL755, they don't have the distinctive fuse shape... oh well - Italeri... I got the kit because of the winter camo option. Then I was positively surprised about the nice recessed panel lines. The last 1/72 Harrier kit I got from Italeri a couple years ago (No 1214) had quite thick raised panel lines. I hope we won't see that one again on the shelves... Thanks, Oliver
  9. I'm actually not sure what the "bomb" in the kit is supposed to be.... anyone? Oliver
  10. Have these Italeri guys lost it completely - or something I don't know ? Kit is the Harrier GR.3 "Falkland" No 1278, and the decal to go on the BLU 755 like bomb (not sure, looks like one...) says in plain english: "not for flight". Please help me to understand this, otherwise I won't be able to sleep tonight. Thanks, Oliver
  11. Brian, this is great news! I really dig the subjects you do and got both of the Ultimate Hornet Adversaries (48009 and 48010) from Hannants not too long ago. But I noticed a little issue with BUNO 161716, the brown green "70" from the 48009 sheet. Compared to the picture on the instructions sheet, the "70" and the "NFWS" decals are quite a few shades too dark! Just have a look at it! Yes, I know, the backgrounds on the real thing are relatively dark, but esp. from the NFWS on the plane, you can see that the decal is way too dark. I think it should be a very bright gray, if not off-white.
  12. I've been pondering this since quite a while now. Esp. because we don't seem safe from the xth release of our beloved F-teens. What do you think? Oliver
  13. Title says it all, pretty much. So, does it tell me, e.g., when (from which Block) the shape of the elevators changed, etc. ? Thanks, Oliver
  14. (some of you are going to hate me for this but...) could someone give me a careful guesstimation about ... well... how much it will cost? Otherwise, I think it's really great to have wing pylon tanks in plastic. Yeah, and the nuclear bomb is going to be a blast... Oliver
