Cut up a Testors 1/48 F-14 Top Gun decal sheet (I think it was) for the shark mouth on the one surf board. Been a long time since I scraped so much chrome to be glued! Thanks all for looking.

  5. Worked on this fine little jewel while doing the C-141's. Revell Germany 1/72 Junkers F.13 land version. Ever eant to do a simple great build this is one for you to think about building.
  6. Well here they are in all there glory, Thanks all for looking, and for comments during the build.
  7. Can we have some details shots ?
  8. Did'nt a outfit called 12 Squared here in the states make a low pressure injected kit of one many years ago?
  9. What was your question now? Was it about a Nimrod kit?
  10. >>Milk frother with the "spring" removed>> Is that one of them there British thingys or are they here in the USA?? Kinda like to get one! I use a screwdriver for the old 25 year old Humbrol paints that I crack open for the first time and then the Badger mixer to stir the rest of it up, but it's getting real old also hardly no raised parts on the mixer left. I use the mixer also to mix up the reduced paint in my airbrush cup too.
  11. Great job, love this airplane I have built 2 so far and gave one of them to my buddy. Both the XV148 RAE Bedford 1978 grey/white with red tail. Working on the AEW conversion also about ready for decals. Got a bunch of kits in my stash and decals for them. Keep up the good work! my build here
  12. Ken, But it still looks good and you will have the only Homer on your block! So who will really notice, can put the buzz numbers below the heat thingys if you can.
  13. I always enjoy your builds, wish I had the skills for interior work like that! Will be watching.
  14. Starting to look different now, both have decals on them got the main landing gear figured out so they will set correct (I hope). The upper part of the main gear shows thru the little door now. Now for all the little stuff to be added to them both. Plus touch up the leading edge where I ran the silver to far in. Wish decals came with the yellow door outlines. Somebody needs to come out with door outlines in yellow but divide the door outlines into 1/4's so you can make what ever size you want too. Battery ran out so you all lucked out just one pic too look at. Thanks all for looking and comm
  15. I for one is glad Jennings is making these decals, ( I do not know this man or have even met him at any ahows) but posting on here about them saves me the trouble of searching on the internet about them also. Since I hardly go to the swap/trade area of this forum it makes this transactiion even easier Heck I am happier then a drunken sailor in a whorehouse with a charge card over this! Now you can send my free review sample to........................
  16. Thanks for the pic HELPS ALOT! Have to touch up the front leading edge where I ran the silver all they way to the fuse. I did get them both the A and B decals on yesterday, waiting for them to dry to clear coat both then, down hill run from there. THANKS AGAIN!............
  17. Your build is looking great!!! Is it decaled yet?????? :D Aigore is right about the little thin strips of tape being easier to work with around curves not wanting to pull itself up. What also helps on the straight lines and mostly on panel lines are that you keep the tape not real tight when laying the tape to the model. What I mean is do not stretch the tape when masking the sides off, kind of keep it slack just a little bit, do not stretch the tape when laying it down because the tape will pull itself out of the panel lines going back in to shape after you use your finger nail to set it in
  18. Karl, Thanks, negitive is good! It all helps due to the fit of the clear resin part and the pinholes I went ahead and painted the windows black, so no interior can be seen now anyway. Been looking at reference pics about ready to drive me crazy looking at them all trying to figure out what is what on these things, I guess it depends on the time frame. One question on the rear horizontal stabilizers on the A model (gray/white) was that leading edge silver also? I have the scale plans from the old 1/72 Nova vacuform kit and it shows no silver area on that area. Thanks any help would be ap
  19. All parts are painted, clear gloss applied just soon as dry then ready for decals for both A snd B models. Cheat line and wing walks for A model. After all that final clear coat and add the other parts. Thanks all for looking and comments...........

  22. I have ordered from Cammet a few months ago. Good Service here to the US. The fit on the Nimrod conversion is great, pinhole free parts also.
