  1. Time to get this thread re-energised.
  2. This was the only time flown though, 22 Nov 2004. A21-1 had 5/0/6+ and a Nighthawk pod if you look closely and A21-4 had 6/0/6+. Only had to make it to the local training area for a photoshoot. One bag and all that drag, they would not have got very far for real. Now some more single seaters to redress the balance:
  3. Couple more Aussies, I seem to be favouring the tubs.
  4. As Motty says, you can never have too many Aussie Hornets! Some oldies of mine.
  5. The four Hornets deployed on Operation Slipper (OEF) were early HUG 2.0 jets and as such need all the external upgrades you see on the jets today (birdslicers, swept antennas, GPS dome etc). The best way to achieve this is with the new Wolfpack Designs F/A-18+ coversion or the MAW Decals equivalent. Cheers, Biggles
  6. Light Gull Gray (36440) with white uppers for the original schemes (hi and lo vis) as per USN prior to the overall gray scheme.
  7. RAAF P-3s are officially painted 26373, but quickly become close to 36375 with age. The markings are 25237 (same blue-gray as the upper surface of the F/A-18). IIRC USN P-3s are overall 36440. HTH.

The Chinese use the Gardenia system, which have subtlely different pods from the Sorbtsya system in the photos above. Cheers, KB
  9. Don't worry Madmike, you are right about the F-16Cs (as you said). The RSAF may not have the As any more but there are 60-80 (can't remember how manyexactly) Cs and Ds up there now to replace them.
  10. Really regretting not paying attention earlier. Back a few months someone posted which sprues are required to get the NSI intake and PW engine exhaust from the Tamiya Thunderbirds boxing to put onto the F-16CJ kit to make it a Block 52. I have tried searching the posts and cannot locate the information (but found some great models like Anthony's Greek and Bahraini F-16s). Could someone please repost the required Tamiya parts so I can order them? Thanks
